Durable and exactly what we needed

My partner and I rode our bikes across the state of Arizona in May (approx. 550 miles). We initially weren't sure how the Burley bags would do on our back racks, but they held up great and carried the perfect amount of gear/food. We had to file the top of the clips down to prevent them from rubbing on our dry bags, but other than that the design was just about the best we could ask for.

Perfect Size

These are like classic roll top panniers. They appear to be well made although time will tell. The small exterior zippered pocket is good for small items like a small cable lock you can access quickly. Not sure if they are waterproof though. Zipper looks water resistant. They were easy to set up for the Coho rack. The size is just right to carry items like my camping gear together and it keeps it clean and dry. They are also perfect for carrying food and snacks. I don’t have to take up space in my bag or strap them on top. There is still room on top of the Coho fender to strap additional items if necessary.

Pannier set

Great water proof bag for day trips ... multi-way becomes challenging as capacity is low. Reflectors should be larger. Pockets and key chain clips on the inside would be so useful! The Clío at the bottom becomes loose too often (one came off completely and the pannier got on to the wheel - luckily I was going slow).

Great stuff in a small package

I have not had these long, but first impressions are great. I used them on a front rack for gravel bikepacking. Sleeping bag, hat, and extra socks in one side, jacket and clothes and water filter in the other. I could have stuffed more, but I was trying to keep the weight even on each side. I could have ridden no hands they were so well balanced. I did have them pretty low on the front wheel of my Kona Sutra, but they were hardly noticed. They handled rough roads with ease. Once I arrived, a quick release of the lock and they were off. My only gripe is the "made in China" tag, but the utility and price are a big sell here. Can't wait to put some more miles these.
