Haul away, man.

With its 100lb capacity, the Burley Nomad Bike Trailer can carry your whole collection of handmade soap to the county fair, move all your tie-dyed vinyl across town to your new communal living space, or haul stacks of corncob flutes down to the farmer's market without making a fuss. The secret's in the internal aluminum frame, which gives the Burley the structure that your life is lacking, and the forged hitch that attaches securely to your bike without weighing down your spirit or legs, man. A collapsible internal divider makes sure your traveling crystal collection doesn't get contaminated by the portable composter that you just traded for, and three mesh pockets, six tie-downs, and a weatherproof cover make sure your sunny vibes don't get soggy or blown away.

Joking aside, the Nomad's really pretty sweet. Whether you're going on a weekend camping trip, or even something longer, it has enough space for all your gear, and a sturdy structure that'll keep rolling for thousands of miles. The 16in alloy wheels are strong but lightweight, and the good folks at Burley even hooked the trailer up with reflectors and a safety flag, because nothing puts the brakes on a camping trip like a night in the hospital.

The nomad is an awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nomad is an awesome trailer. The one thing I don’t like about it is I had to take my back tire off to put the trail hitch on. My last cart you just hooked it to the Y joint. Other wise it rides really nice.

Heavens Ride for My Dog

Mostly you see an adult pushing a child in a Burley or pedaling a child in a Burley where I live. But pedaling a dog around brings stares or curiosity. My pup both walks and rides along. Contrary to one’s opinion, he is not lazy. Just likes both worlds, kinda like his human. I gave it a 4 because the back closure is not very secure as designed. You might take a look at that.

Great design, wroth the money!

I bought my Nomad last year for my long distance weekend adventures. I had this packed full with all my gear thinking it would weigh me down. However, It still felt like I was pulling nothing behind me. I made it from MSP to Duluth, MN in the same day! Highly recommends to those bike packer and long distance adventure seekers. Light weight, easy to connect, hold everything you need including the rack attachment you can purchase. Love my Nomad!

Great for hauling my fly fishing gear!

The Nomad is great for hauling my fly fishing gear with my bike to get to remote spots on the Great Allegheny Passage (Gap) and the Youghiogheny River.

Burley looking for wong way

Loved it. I traveled from Summerland, BC to Princeton - passing by a road called Wong Way. I used my Burley Nomad for the first backpacking trip of the year. This was a fairly well-groomed trail with a few spots that were washed out from spring run off. The Nomad just trailed along behind me, on all terrain I went through. It is rated for 100lbs, but in my opinion when doing a backpacking trip, you should NOT go above 40lbs total. This would greatly increase your enjoyment of the trip.

Love our nomad, however, we have had the pin break and some wear on the back lower edge in just two rides with it.

I have always been a real fan for Burley for many years. This Nomad Trailer is great and better than my old one. In fact I have decided to keep the old one too and put a hitch in the back of it so that I can use both trailers. Here's a picture of my cool setup with my Pedego Trike Bike. I have made it in a train with added string of lights around the trailers and bike.

The process to order my bike trailer was really easy and the quality of the product exceeded my imagination. I put around 50 lbs of cargo in the trailer and I didn't even feel the load on my bike. Smooth ride even in tight turns.
