Nomad
I just bought it on Craigslist from a guy who only used it once with the cargo rack still in the bag. Been giving it some test flights & will use it this summer to camp.

Burley Bee
We bought our first Burley in 1995 for our son. We used it for over six years, gave it to a friend and they used it another four or five years. I recently bought two Burley Bee’s that were on sale. One for towing our dog and one for our grandson who’s father enjoyed his burley from 1995 through 2001. Thank you Burley for providing a safe, long lasting and fun product that our family has enjoyed for the better part of two decades.

This is the exact solution I needed!
This is the exact solution I needed! I have had a flatbed trailer for years. When I originally installed the mount for the trailer I did notice that the original nuts would not completely go on. When I had the bike repaired recently the bike shop would not re-install the mount. They stated it was unsafe. That got me on the hunt for a solution. I found this hitch adapter and measured my threads to ensure I purchased the correct on. Now if I have to loosen the nuts on the rear tire to tighten the change its alot easier to get the mount re-aligned for the trailer since I can get the wheel retightened and then worry about the mount alignment and not both at once!

Excellent!
Sturdy and efficient solution for the short post on my bike. VERY easy to install, and provides peace-of-mind when using our Bee hitch.

Right off the bat I
Right off the bat I loaded this trailer to the max ( and maybe a little more) it handles excellent. Got most of the load over the axle and it was almost impossible to feel the weight. No regrets at all for buying it. Highly recommend

The bike part I didn't know I needed
I had never had issues with toddler or dog trailers. Until my wife's newest bike came with a hooded rear dropout and the hitch just wouldn't go in. I tried longer axles and messed up the disc brakes in the process. If you have a hooded rear dropout in your frame, save yourself brakes fixes and spending in longer axles and just get this Burley adapter. Couldn't be any easier.

It works
I have a Rohloff hub on my bike, and I realized that I would not be able to install the hitch without an adapter, because the Rohloff's gearbox is in the way. The hitch adapter allows for more space between the bike and the hitch--enough space for the hitch to clear the gear box. The adapter works great, and I am happy with it. I've been hauling my trailer around with no issues. Why only 4 stars? 2 minor things: 1) Using the adapter requires that I flip the skewer around, meaning the quick-release skewer is now on the drive side of the bike. (That's fine, just non-standard, and a little cluttered feeling.) 2) The adapter requires the use of a nut to secure it in place, meaning that when I want to remove the rear wheel now, I need to use a 17 mm wrench (rather than just my hands to unscrew the quick-release axle). This is also fine--it just means that I need to carry a 17mm wrench along with my flat kit.
