Flatbed Trailer

Whether you're a dedicated commuter, or you've got your sights set on an ambitious saddle-based road trip, you'll be able to carry pretty much everything you could possibly want with complete confidence with the Burley Flatbed Trailer. This trailer weighs in at just 14 pounds, which is great because you can definitely pack enough food, gear, or whatever else you need on your trip to fill its 100-pound capacity. The Flatbed’s tough aluminum frame is made for years of battering, and 16-inch wheels smooth out chunky pavement. The forged aluminum hitch makes it easy to attach it to your ride when you need it, and leave it when you don't. At ride’s end, just wipe down the tarp bed and fold down the sides, then pop the wheels off for easy storage. And when it's folded up, it's small enough to fit inside the trunk of your car.

Why did I wait soooo long!?

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Fit:
True to size

I have always known Burley to be a quality product yet I put off purchasing this trailer far too long! (I live in a rural Alaskan village) I have no car and I use this trailer for shopping, hauling trash, and retrieving mail. I will use it for hauling equipment to ski practices when they start up this winter. It takes less than 30 seconds to attach or remove the trailer to my bike----works like a charm! I have a FatBack fat tire bike. I needed to get a new axle to be able to use this trailer. I used "The Robert Axle Project" online site. I highly recommend this site for any questions on trailer and axle usage.

Burley Flatbed Product Features

The Flatbed bike cargo trailer is the utilitarian choice for pulling loads of up to 100 lbs. The trailer’s balance point minimizes torque on the bike while the two wheel chassis provides superior tracking and stability. The open front, back and top of the trailer make it easy to carry items of almost any size.

Easy to put together

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Pretty easy to put together and not that hard to ride around with. Use it to lug the dog around town.

Is this wide enough and does it trail back far enough to haul a whitewater kayak?
