Nice addition

Was a great addition to trailer! I had a little problem with the setup had an alignment problem that ended up popping a rivet nut on the trailer but still worth 5stars just be careful on mounting !

Handling

So far rack has worked out great. Easy install. Definitely changed the way trailer handled. Been using trailer for about a year. Didn’t think it would have changed handling that much. Just thinking I need to get used to it and make sure bags are loaded evenly.

Extra Carrying Capacity

I bought this rack to have a little extra capacity which it provides nicely with the Burley Panniers. It appears to be well made but it wasn't as easy to install as the video makes it look. I had to tweak it to install since it didn't line up perfectly with the mounting points.. Once it is installed the no tool fold up of the Coho goes away. You have to use the allen wrench to remove it before you can break down the Coho for storage/travel.

Extra space when you need it

The rack gives you the ability to carry more gear or whatever when you need to. It mounts easily and appears very sturdy. Time will will tell but so far so good.

Awesome add on.

Its made of solid aluminum rod so its strong and light. It bolted right up with no troubles. I did however replace the bolts with stainless steel M5's. Oh and I use Ortlieb front panniers for a perfect fit and to match my kit.

Great rack, but allen heads easily strip

Just got my Coho trailer yesterday as well as the rack. It seems very well constructed, and attaches easily and solidly to the trailer frame. However, the allen-head screw heads (utilizing a 3mm allen wrench) are easily stripped when tightening to a normal tightness. It's the head that is stripping, not the threads. I tried with two different relatively new 3mm allen wrenches. On my other bikes that I've attached racks to (including a mountain bike, touring bike, fat bike, tandem and a custom 4 seat quad bicycle) I *think* the screws were stainless and I've never had an issue. But I'm also aware of the cautions of using differing metals due to galvanic corrosion (the pannier racks are made of aluminum) but in one case I've had aluminum racks with stainless screws attached now for almost 30 years (!) with no issues...maybe I'll replace the Burley-supplied screws with stainless? Regardless, I'm quite satisfied with the trailer so far and am looking forward to using it with the attached pannier rack in the backcountry!
