Only one thing lacking

The Bee is great. I’ve had it on the road and gravel at averages of 11-15mph. There is significant drag right at 15mph, but that is also the manufactures stated top speed. My only gripes are these. That the seat back does not recline. This means my 23lb, 1 year old, slides forward as the ride progresses, pushing their helmet forward which causes them to uncomfortably slouch. So I stop every 30mins or so to ensure they are sat back up and pushed to the back of the webbed seat. Second, the seat belt straps can irritate a child’s neck, but this can be remedied by putting cloth or removing the strap pads from your car seat and using them on the Bee’s seat beast straps. I would recommend to anyone with kids (and even small-medium dogs), just keeping in mind that slight modifications may be needed depending on your passenger.

I got this for our one year old daughter so we can safely bike around and run errands. I was really blown away with the initial set up, it look me 10 minutes to go from box to riding with little to no instruction. My only nit pick about the trailer is that the actual seat doesnt seem very comfortable for my daughter, I would love to see a little bit more padding added on the seat and back. All the materials and build have clearly been meticulously constructed for safety and functionality! I know we will get years of use out of this trailer.

I have been very satisfied with the Burly kid trailer for my daughter. She is 14 months in this photo and has plenty of room. There is a good amount of storage area in the back to put a backpack or any items you may need on a bike ride like Diapers, wipes, etc. Easy hook up with most bikes and pulls very well, not heavy by itself and breaks down very easy for storage or transporting. Tires comes off very easy and there are multiple points where it secures to the bike so all the worried moms can rest assured it will not detach from the bike some how sending your child flying into traffic. It has been great and I like things that are great!

Really cramped and inactive for kids

Works well and nicely made. Kids are cramped and bored silly. Serves better as stroller than a bike trailer.

My family absolutely loves this bike trailer. There are so many useful features that drew us to this product like the zippy cup holder, compartment storage and the tinted windows. Just by looking at it you can tell it was made with the highest quality. We love that it is also so light and folds up very nicely. You can't go wrong with this product!

I love to bike...but when my wife took on a new job and we didn't have a babysitter I knew my biking days would be limited. That is until I received my awesome yellow Burley Bee! This is the perfect addition to any road bike when you want to take your little one with you. The assembly was very easy and my daughter had no problem sitting through a 15 mile ride in it. There's lots of room inside so make sure you bring a few toys. I feel like my child is safely secure inside. There is some added drag to the ride itself but not too much. Adding the bee to my bike slowed down my pace by about 30 secs per mile. Happy riding! May this addition to your bike teach your child how fun biking really is!

Burley Bee Child Trailer

I picked the Bee because it was relatively lightweight and she did not disappoint. The child loves it.

Burley means BURLEY!!

Nothing but great things to say about this carrier. I have a little one (5months) and she loves to go out in this. It is lightweight and it packs really nicely for storage or transport. We are currently using a car-seat for time being (extra weight/better workout) and it fits great. The color is super bright so you will be seen miles away. I have this set up to my Surly Karate Monkey and it rolls really smoothly and can even handle a little trail riding (Not Amasa Back). The 20 inch wheels pair really nice with my 29r and my wife's 650b. Over all this is great and well built and its an excuse to get out and ride your bike!

Can you adjust/move the shoulder straps so that one child can ride in the center of this trailer? We could on the D'Lite and wondering if the Bee also has this feature?
