Brooks England Isle Of Wight Saddle Bag

I've used it several times

Wow. I have a fleet of bikes; each with a saddle bag for tube kit, small tools. This bag is the benchmark of quality and timeless class. The others do what they were designed to do. This one adds some old-school nostalgia.

What I was looking for

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I recently switched from mountain biking to road biking. It has been difficult to leave my camelbak at home, because I was used to carrying every possible thing I would ever need on my back. I purchased the large bag, so that I could carry any necessary tools, parts, and my excessively large mobile phone, keyfob, and snacky bar. The large bag is nice looking and big enough to carry everything I need without looking too silly. If you are looking to break the rules, you may as well do it with a saddle bag like this. The bag has 3 straps, one that goes around the seat post, and two that attach to the saddle base. The twin zippers, partnered with velcro, allow the flap to open so that the opening is large enough to easily fit whatever you need into the bag. The only downside I have is that my current tail light had to be removed, because it was not able to fit lower on the seat post (it cannot fit the larger width that goes with being lower on the frame.
