My second brixton hat purchased from backcountry. First was the Messer hat, which has a relatively stiff brim and holds its shape well. Based upon pictures and description of this Freeport, I assumed that it would also have some sort of rigidity for the brim and top of the hat. However thats not the case. This felt is much thinner than the Messer and is no better looking in real life than a scarecrow hat from a wizard of oz costume. It’s way floppier than what the models wearing it show.
