Stop thinking about it and just buy it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the pedal drive! It is a bit cumbersome to put away due to its size and weight, but it is totally worth it on the water. I would highly recommend this for anyone that has one of the boards it can go on. We did a 6 mile trek the first day, and this made it seem easy and it is a ton of fun. You also get a lot of attention with the system as people love it.

Great idea, terrible product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very disappointed. I have taken my BOTE with the pedal system out on the bay 4x and each time the pedal system has broken. The first time, I was with my child and had to be rescued. I had to hand peddle on time and paddle the last time. It is so unacceptable. The steering system also has broken 2x. This is brand new! I want to a return. Please call me.

Highly recommend

Poor materials.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 2 systems and both have failed after 2nd use. Very cheap materials used to build these and does not stand up to regular use. Not recommended.

Very nice to have
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The APEX pedal drive is a lifesaver for me. When my arms get tired, I put the pedal drive down and just go. The other day, winds came up out of nowhere on the creek and the paddling was getting hard for me, just pedaled and went! Definitely nice to have when fishing! The storage bag that comes with it to pack up the rudder system and fins is nice to have too.

Awesome!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very well built! When you’re ready to take a break from standing up and want to have a nice relaxing day on the water this is the way to go! Great on open areas of the river where you need to sometimes get from point A to point B quicker than normal… Another great piece of equipment from Bote!
