Boreal's Ice Mutant Mountaineering Boot brings the ice climbing shoe up to the modern era. Designed specifically for dry tooling and competitions, the Ice Mutant maintains a minimalist esthetic to keep light on your feet without sacrificing a performance-driven design. Like most super gaiter boots, the Ice Mutant features a removable gaiter made of Cordura for solid coverage when needed, and the inner boot boasts Dry-Line waterproofing and Thinsulate insulation for comfort without the gaiter. The sole has special inserts designed specifically for Black Diamond's Raptor Crampon with detachable dual or mono front points.
