This shoe features the same durable, hand-lasted rubber that Bogs uses for the ruggedly reliable rain boots that hunters and fishermen admire. The inside of the shoe has an anti-odor treatment, because the city streets might smell a little swampy after a rainstorm, but that doesn't mean your footwear has to.

These are pretty easy to slip into, which is nice. I wanted an all weather outdoor shoe for dog walks and back yard chores. That's the good part. The bad part is that EVERY TIME I take them off the insoles come out with my feet. Well, not all the way out, but they bunch up and require smoothing out the next time you put them on. So, where they can be easy and quick to slip on, it's not as convenient when you have to reinsert the foot bed every time. I suppose I need to glue them in or put down some velcro tape. It's unfortunately someone at Bogs didn't already take this into account. The issue is the shoes are snug (but very comfortable). Being snug, when you take out your foot, any loose bits come with it.
Aarrggh!
