I bought these boots for my husband. The bulk to warmth ratio is very impressive (for how warm they are they are not clunky). The soles also are grippy in a wide variety of conditions (mud, snow, ice, etc..).

I've only worn these a few times shoveling snow and walking around icy resort parking lots, but so far they're great. They've got a comfortable fit and are easy to throw on and off when I'm switching into my ski boots. I was looking for a quality built boot to handle wet and cold snow conditions, that will last for years to come. I can tell this was a solid purchase.

I love these things for anything wetness oriented. Loading/Unloading river boats, check. Shoveling my driveway, check. Driving to and from the ski hill, check. Summer rain hikes, check. Love them.

Warm, comfy, and true to size. They have much better traction than the Ultra High, but... the opening at the top of these boots is much smaller. Which results in my pants falling over the top, and I don't like that because my pants then get wet.

I wear these boots taking care of my horses and they are the best for all conditions. You can't go wrong with these boots. They are warm, dry and comfortable - can't ask for more than that. The price is right too.

What is the height of this boot and would...
What is the height of this boot and would this be good around a stream fishing. Are there other boots I should be looking at? Most of the other boots that I looked at are 15" high.
