Thermal Series Boot

Do you get misty-eyed when you have to retire your beloved Blundstone boots for the season when frigid winter weather sets in? Well, put away the tissues, because the Blundstone Women's Thermal Series Boot brings you the same iconic style as your Original 500 Series boots, but with winter-worthy features to allow you to wear your favorite style straight through the coldest months. It's equipped with warmth- and weatherproof-enhancing features to help you endure the cold of winter in comfort and style.

Low-profile Thinsulate insulation locks in warmth without adding a bulky look or feel, and the sheepskin footbed adds a cozy feel while keeping the cold from the ground at bay. And since freezing temps often bring snow-blanketed landscapes, Blundstone also gave it a waterproof upper with sealed seams to keep snow and slush from seeping in and dampening your day.

  • Winter-worthy version of Blundstone's iconic original boot
  • Waterproof leather and elastic upper keeps snow out
  • Sealed seams prevent slush from seeping in
  • Thinsulate insulation adds warmth without making boot bulky
  • Removable sheepskin footbed offers cozy feel
  • XRD Technology takes away the sting of the cold ground
  • Midsole adds shock absorption and support
  • Outsole offers grip on icy streets

Sturdy, warm, and cute

True to size

US 9

I love these boots! They are my first blundstones. I originally ordered a US 10 based on the size chart on the blundstones website. I traced my feet on a piece of paper and measured from heel to big toe. My left foot is about a half inch longer than my right, so I ordered a 10 based on its length. The 10 was pretty roomy on my left foot and wayyy too big on my right foot. The 9s are perfect! I usually wear a 9, so I’d say they are true to size. My feet are on the narrow side. I have enough room for thick socks and they are comfortable with thin socks too. They are definitely warm! The sheep skin and insulated lining will be perfect most of the year in northwest WA. I have poor circulation and my feet are always cold. It’s 60 degrees F here in June. I replaced the fuzzy footbeds with superfeet for the summer and my feet get pretty warm after walking for awhile. So in hotter weather, these will be uncomfortable. I guess I need a second pair of non-insulated blundstones for the summer! I get to pick out another cute color!

Style and warmth!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I finally caved and bought a pair of these boots after several recommendations from coworkers. I really love these boots so far! The thermal sheepskin insole keeps my feet nice and toasty which will be great for the long winter ahead. They took me a couple of days to break in, I haven't gotten blisters but the backs of the boots come up quite high on me and are a bit stiff. They definitely soften up with time! Every shoe in my closet is a 7.5. However, I took a look at the sizing info for Blundstone and decided to go up a half size. According to their website their half sizes do not get any longer, only wider. Keep that in mind when you decide which pair to buy and I'd definitely recommend measuring the length of your foot to compare to their size chart to be sure. The 8 is comfortable for me with a thin pair of socks or a thicker pair for when the temps drop even lower.

Super water proof

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These boots are fantastic for the rain I was able to go on a hike and my feet were so snug and warm. Not a big fan of the sheepskin so I'm going to get some insoles instead. They are pretty small so I would advise going a size up or even a size and a half depending.

2nd Pair, does fit small

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

i got my first pair of blundstones 6 years ago and finally decided to invest in a more waterproof warmer pair. so far these are amazing.. they do run small!! i wear a size 6.5 and normally get a 7 in boots for thicker socks. i got a 7.5 in these, and they are slightly snug but i know they will stretch a bit over time. can’t wait to test them out in snow

These boots are amazing! They have kept my feet warm throughout an entire Park City, UT winter. I've worn these boots almost everyday this winter and have very minimal signs of wearing and tearing. I am excited to have these for many winter's to come!

Thank you Allison! Enjoy! Leta Blundstone Rep

Function AND Form

I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought these for my girlfriend as a gift and she loves them. She's had them for a few months now and I still hear about how great they are once a week. She says they're super comfortable, looks great, and really warm.

Love them! --They are a little tight

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I love these boots, but they are pretty tight on the top of my foot . I got my typical shoe size and my toes have plenty of room, but they hurt the top of my foot. I do have a pretty high arch so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it. I have been wearing them every day for the weeks I've had them and they definitely have broken in. They're not as tight as before but still uncomfortable if I wear them too long. I'm thinking of just changing out the footbed to make a little more room. They are incredibly warm and totally waterproof. I've worn them for a few hours walking around the dog park and walking through snow and they stay dry and warm which is a big plus! The thick sheepskin insole is what keeps them so insulated. It's nice and soft to walk on, and really cozy. I'm hoping that after a little more wear, the top leather of the boot will stretch a little more and won't feel quite so tight. The sheepskin insole is removable so I will likely replace them with a thinner insole once it warms up. That will give my feet more room to breathe as well. Update: I've had these for about 6 months now and they are more comfortable. They did eventually stretch out and while I still feel pressure on the top of my foot, I can wear them all day without it being uncomfortable. I did take out the sheepskin footbed and replaced it with a regular insole as it has warmed up and that has helped a ton. They fit great now and I love wearing them, even in the warmer weather. They're still totally waterproof so I wear them out in the rain and my feet stay dry. I have put a leather conditioner on them once and they looked beautiful and like they just came out of the box!

Thank you Hailey! Might be your instep (top of foot) size rather than your arch. They are leather, so they do ease up a bit! Thank you for your review! Leta Blundstone Rep

Sturdy and totally worth it!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I keep my footwear for a long time, so when I buy a new piece I have a lot of expectations. These boots completely my and exceeded all of them! I wanted something waterproof for these horrible Ohio winters. So far, even walking through mud and puddles, my feet have stayed remarkably dry. I also wanted to be able to easily clean them since I am constantly outside hiking in the muddy parks. To clean them I literally just run water and use a cloth in our laundry tub and the mud and gunk comes right off. I make sure I don’t get any water inside the boot and us usually they dry in about an hour and they look good enough to go meet clients in! I have another pair of Blundstone boots that aren’t thermal, and I really do like the added warmth these offer. I think I could even remove the fuzzy lining and wear these in the summer though. I didn’t think they were too insulated that they don’t breathe or are uncomfortable. They are also true to size for me. I really can’t say enough good things about these boots!

Cozy and Stylish

I bought these because my size was out of stock in the 500 series. Also I had to get a 6.5 instead of my usual 6. They are a perfect fit! Very warm and the waterproofing is impressive. The fabric on the side is not fully waterproof so submerging you foot fully in a river is not a good idea. But for getting stuck camping in the rain with 40 degree weather like I did these bad boys keeps your feet dry and warm. Also very comfortable. I am wearing them right now :) Overall I am happy I have these instead of the 500 series. Come summer I will need to purchase a different food bed. But for now and into the winter I can continue to wear them with a lightweight sock and stay warm.

Great shot! May I ask what socks you’re wearing there? I struggle finding the right length to pull off wearing Blunnies with leggings!

My first try with Blundstone Thermals

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

Just received these in my usual size 6.5. Had a hard time putting them on - tight fit. Once on they were almost impossible to remove (I had to get someone to help tug!). I removed the sheepskin lining and then they seemed to fit better. It would be great if they came with an alternate thinner footbed. Overall, the boot is nice and I am sure would be very warm. I will return and try a larger size and hope they will fit better

Pretty amazing.

Been eyeing these for a couple winters and I'm stoked to finally own them. Warm? Check. Waterproof? Check. Comfortable? Check. Yes the back of the boot was a little stiff when I first wore them, but that changed after about an hour of wearing them. They didn't cause my feet to overheat when I wore them in the office one day, and they performed beautifully on a snowy adventure. They have surprisingly good grip on snow and wet rocks, and my feet were warm and dry the entire time. Plus they look rad. 11/10 would recommend.

warm enough to wear out in the snow on a frigid day? (city wear, obviously) :)

too stiff

The back is so hard and stiff it hurt my foot, perhaps over time it would loosen, but not comfortable.

Beyond happy

I bought these for my daughter and I don’t think she has taken them off. She said they were comfortable right from the get go and wears them to do everything in. They are both casual and perfect for hiking or wandering through the woods. She took out the wool insoles for the spring and summer but plans to put them back in once fall hits

run big?

I had tried on these in the non-thermal version and ordered the same size in thermal and they seemed way too big. Maybe the thermal run big? otherwise these would have been awesome. Cute and the sheepskin is cozy.

Good, but not for me

Familiarity:

These seem like high quality, durable boots, and very comfortable when I tried them on, however, they were just too wide for my feet and I felt like I was sliding around in them. I was bummed I had to return them

Hands down, my favorite Fall/Winter boot. Great quality, cute, durable and incredibly toasty warm. I'm a true 7.5 and the 7.5 was a perfect fit for me, even with a relatively thick sock on while wearing them. Definitely recommend!

fuzzy!

Fuzzy footed Blundstones? Yes please. Waterproof, so you can wear 'em in any and all conditions (well, maybe avoid the severe heat ... read: sterling lining), and so, so comfortable. Get ready to wear these all winter long.

Favorite Fall/Winter Boots

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

These Blundstone boots are the best fall/winter boots I own! Waterproof and durable for rainy or snowy days, they also look great with a pair of jeans and sweater in the office. The insulation in these boots provide extra warmth and comfort as well - highly recommend!

I know Blundstone carries a 10.5 why don’t you carry them? I would like to buy them from here but my size 10 foot is wide!
