Literally wear these every day

6 months and many miles later…The best all-around boots I've ever owned! I've worn them practically every day - no exaggeration. It does take about two weeks to break in, but they're only getting better with age. These boots are a solid investment. They’re a do-it-all type of shoe. Different styles fit slightly differently, I do have another pair of bloodstones that fit a bit more snug, so I had to size up a half size, but these fit true to size (I bought an 8).

Beautiful boot, runs small. I usually wear a 9, bought a 9.5 and it was super small. I will exchange for a 10.5 b/c I would love to wear some thick socks with them. Hopefully that works.

Funky Sizing!

Normally, I am a true size 7 in women's shoes. I ordered a size 7 in the rustic black color, and when they arrived, I was surprised that my toes were smashed into the end. I walked around in them for a bit in my home, and eventually concluded that I should order a half size up. What I didn't know is that the half sizes in Blundstone's lineup are their wide sizes. So the 7.5 is the same length as the 7, but has a wider fit. I ended up ordering an 8, which fits my toes perfectly with the comfort liners inserted into it to make the boot more snug. I haven't broken them in yet or really worn them asides from the initial try on, so I can't really speak to the break in process or longevity of the boots.

I think I actually bought these from the Backcountry catalog before I shopped online. I have worn them rain or shine, hot or cold for 20 years, and they are still going strong. Thinking about contacting Blundstone to have the soles replaced, but the best shoe I've ever worn.

Let Down

I usually wear a U.S. size 7.5 and got the size 5 (UK) in the Rustic Brown boots. I bought these to wear for work and hiking. But I'd say they're better for walking around town and have great traction, but the ankle area is not supportive/sturdy enough for hiking. They definitely needed to be broken in - the back of the boots pressed into my leg right below my calves when I first started wearing them. It hurt so bad for a good week, but I toughed it out and then for a month I wore them every single day and they were perfect. But a couple of weeks ago a deep crease formed only on the right boot, right above my heel (Achilles tendon area). It's so incredibly painful to walk in the right boot now. My Achilles tendon is swollen and bruised from the deep crease pushing into it every step I make. Meanwhile the left boot is completely comfortable with no deep crease in that location. This was after only 1 month of wear. One would think that a $200 pair of boots would be a bit sturdier and better constructed to not bend so much after 1 month of wear. I've never had this occur before with one boot getting a crease so deep I couldn't walk because of the pain. Blundstone wouldn't replace the one boot as they deemed it normal and I can't return them for a refund because I wore them. Unfortunately Blundstone's product isn't sturdy or worth the hype.

I?m pleased with the boot, I have another style of blundstones and know they?re hellacious to break in, but the fit is nice. Not super excited that both the included insoles were covered with pet hair. Kind of gross. Paid a lot of money for the boots, would have liked them to be clean. Not upset that they were a return, they don?t look worn, just?not pumped about the small white hairs covering the inside of the boots.

I wear boots year-round and typically stick to Doc Martens. A few years ago I purchased a pair of the higher top Blundstone's in black and was extremely impressed with the quality and durability. I was wanting a pair of brown boots and decided on these which I'm glad I did! They are rustic looking and ready to go right out of the box, no break in needed. I get compliments on these wherever I go and can be dressed up or dressed down with ease. I'm normally a US 8.5 and took these in a US 9.

I spent MONTHS looking at reviews for these and agonized over whether or not I actually needed these shoes. Once they came, not sure they've ever left my feet (kidding, sort of). These shoes are incredibly comfortable right out of the box and only get more comfortable the longer you wear them. I found the height to be perfect, they come to just above my ankles, and they look great with skinny jeans, mom jeans, and I even find myself wearing them with dresses in the summer. I purchased the Rustic Brown color and love it. Sizing is a bit confusing, but they are true to size, remember half sizes are width. I am usually an 8.5-9.5 in women's shoes, with a pretty wide foot, so i purchased a 9.5 US/6.5 UK in these. They fit perfectly - snug enough to wear with light socks in the summer, but generous enough I can squeeze in with some thick cozy socks in the winter. Hoping these serve me well for years to come!

Boots are very comfortable and sturdy without being bulky and heavy! I love them but I got my original size and that wasn?t a good idea. I just got a return label and purchased a size up. Remember half sizes are only width not length! But overall very nice boots!!! I got the color stone Nubuck (a little more money) but it?s a gorgeous color!

Good boots just avoid ice

I love my boots! I went half a size up (usually a 7.5 US got an 8). Stiff at first and did get a blister on the first wear, but after a few wears they broke in. Speaking of breaking, almost busted my bum on ice yesterday...and the day before. I thought these boots would be a bit more slip-proof. Note to self ?? avoid ?? ice. I haven?t tried them out on a steep hike yet. Overall cute and comfy!
