Best option for slack lining
I use blue water for my primitive slack line set up. I rely on this webbing for my anchors as well as my walking line. Unfortunately, Backcountry doesn't carry anything longer than 30 ft, so I had to by 100 ft elsewhere. The 30 ft still helped me set up my anchors. All in all it is very strong, durable and playful.

Make your anchors blend into the rock
The rust color is great for building anchors in the Utah desert. No more ugly black webbing anchors hanging in canyons and off cliffs.

Perfect Length for wrapping a large rock
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Having a 30 foot piece of webbing is the perfect length for wrapping a large rock a couple times or building an anchor a ways back from the cliff. I always carry a couple of these 30 foot pieces in my pack. It's also easy to cut these up into smaller pieces. I've also used this webbing for both canyoneering and climbing. Whether in wet or dry conditions, it works great. I've taken some pretty good falls off anchors built with this webbing and no matter how tight my knot is pulled, I'mealways able to get the knot out. A water knot in this webbing never slips and is extremely strong, but it is still relatively easy to untie at the end of a long day of climbing.

Love the rust color

I normally don't prefer climb spec webbing for canyoneering, but this color is so non-intrusive in the canyons. It's great to build an anchor that blends perfectly into the landscape. See a lot of bright, unnatural colors on anchors out there and would be great to see more colors like this!

Webbing

A bit heavy and thick, but it does exactly what I need it to do and it's cheap. I bought this so that I could make some slings of varying length from it on a budget. I also use longer pieces of it for anchor building if need be. It's very tough and durable, but tying water knots all over the place is kind of a pain if you ask me, so in retrospect I should have probably just bought some sewn slings/runners, but oh well, this saved me money! I do wish that they sold this stuff in longer lengths. I wanted to use it to do some slack lining too, but obviously 30 ft. if way to short, especially after cutting pieces of it for webbing. All in all though I'm happy with the purchase.

For the most part, webbing is webbing. That being said, this met all of my expectations for a fair price.

Great color option in rust

It's hard to get really excited about webbing and for the most part the details that make one piece of webbing better than another are in the specs ...not visually noticeable. In this case, the rust color is great and very nice for the desert surroundings of Southern Utah. Rust color is less noticeable which many people appreciate.

30 ft webbing
I got this in the mail today and I order it for guiding anchors. It seems to be ordinary tubular webbing... I will re-post on durability in a couple months, but so far so good.
