As the fattest ski in Blizzard's touring-specific Zero G lineup, the Zero G 108 gets you to the top of the skin track easily so you can slay the deepest—and the steepest—lines of the season. The Zero G may be one of the lightest skis in its class, thanks to the weight-saving carbon frame on top of an ultralight paulownia wood core, but this construction also adds enough torsional rigidity and dampening properties for a solid, yet playful feel on the descent.
Though the Zero G 108 feels most at home when the powder is waist-deep, it's versatile enough to handle spring corn, unexpected melt-freeze crusts, late-afternoon cement, or whatever other conditions you'll find in the backcountry. With the rockered tip and tail, you'll stay afloat in deep storm snow and plow through crud, and underfoot camber, paired with the compound sidewalls, will give you a stable, powerful feel as you make big, arcing turns—even on firmer snow. The ski's solid shape and performance is all due to Blizzard's revolutionary Flipcore Technology, which incorporates the construction of the ski into the rocker-shaped mold to provide an even pressure distribution for increased float and a more harmonious flex.
