Why We Like The Rustler 10 Ski - 2023
Back for another year, the Blizzard Rustler 10 Ski continues its legacy of control, speed, and response on any mountain in just about any weather. This ski creates this versatility by combining a nimble, stable, and just floaty enough 100mm waist width, with a rocker profile that maximizes float in the tip, edge hold underfoot, and stability in the tail. The shape and profile of the Rustler 10 encourages us to float through freshly fallen snow, hold an edge on hardpack, and hit the accelerator on big exposed lines.

35 days/year skier in Colorado. I own the 180. These skis can do no wrong. I spend most of the time in the trees/bumps and would consider these my daily driver last season. Get it for the trees and the bumps and the ungroomed. Get it for the 75% off piste and 25% on. It's at home in soft snow. However, on piste you can blast through EoD crud and push the speed limit as it's stable in all but the hardest spring conditions. All that being said, I would have preferred something in between the 180 and 188 -- pretty big jump on the lengths there IMO.

Love affair
I absolutely love the R10. Living in Utah, I have skied a lot of different skies and this one does it for me. I am a 44 YO non-dentist and ski like I am 20 again because of the R10. These sticks don’t punish me like my Dynastars and they don’t talk back to me like my Mantras and they don’t fall apart Iike my crows did, they just keep doing what they’re ask when I ask. I am eying the R11 to round out my Utah powder quiver and have total confidence i will love them. I know it sounds like a love affair, but that is because Blizz did me right! Bravo!

Super fun ski
Skied past two seasons on rustler 10s and continue to get rewarded with big grins. These things rock. I recommended to a friend of mine and my son who both also purchased a pair and we all agree these things are really fun to ski. The description of playful usually means can’t hold up on crud or crappy snow but the Rustler 10s are super playful and energetic but also conquer crud and I haven’t found a speed limit. They make the whole mountain your playground. They carve soft snow like mad and have awesome rebound, but you can pivot and slarve in tight spaces which makes them super in bumps and trees as well. Might not be the top choice for 1 foot plus or the best on boiler plate but they completely crush everything else. Couldn’t be happier

Freeride versatility, my go to ski
I had this ski for 3 seasons, my everything ski I use for travel and side-country. I have mounted with a shift, and is so versatile. Very great edge hold and stability, while still light and quick for trees or bumps. My most versatile ski, suites nearly everything. I like slightly wider for storms greater than a foot (30cm), but this is rare and my Rustler is my go to ski!
