Niata Jacket - Men's

The BlackYak Men's Niata Jacket is a technically advanced down insulator designed for 5,000 meter expeditions. 750-fill down makes this jacket surprisingly warm for how little it weighs (just over a pound), and it's super compressible to fit in packed mountaineering backpacks or even smaller daypacks. BlackYak also used Down Stretch zones and G-Loft synthetic insulation in key areas for a performance-oriented design that ensures freedom of movement and wicks moisture where it counts. The Niata's innovative insulation deserves a shell just as innovative, so BlackYak used Cordura ripstop treated with DWR for reliable water-resistance in light moisture. The shell also has Box-Walls that seal the down in place without using sewing needles to prevent cold spots and create a more impenetrable barrier between you and winter weather.
