Mainly happy
Happy with the design and respirability but a disappointed with the quality due to the threads on the top starting to slightly come off after the first 6 days of wear.

Warmth & beautiful print
I love my new printed balaclava. It is so nice to have a clava that is not plain old black. By the time I purchased it the weather was going into spring so I am looking forward to next winter when it's warmth will really be enjoyed.

Excellent, Comfortable Wind Protection

Used this balaclava for the first time in blowing snow yesterday. Quite warm and manages moisture exceptionally well. The ' hinge' allows one to move the face shield comfortably out of the way when not needed. I just purchased one in the heavier fabric.

comfy + nice
I ordered the BlackStrap product and another balaclava by another brand. The other one was nice...but it squashed my nose and the edges that were my face poked through were very tight. The BlackStrap product...didn't have any of those issues. The material was just the right amount of compression so it stayed where it was supposed to without squishing anything and the edges of the material had enough give that they were comfortable...unlike the other product. Would definitely check out what BlackStrap has to offer if you are in the market for a balaclava.

What’s not to love
Just look around while in line at the resort. Everyone has got a Blackstrap mask. At least, those with smiles on thier faces. Smiles because bald heads are toasty under those helmets and faces aren’t chapped from wind and sun at elevation. The material doesn’t get all wet and saggy from my breath with is a plus. Cool kids form Bend own the Co so support these guys! Cheers!
