Good Top Tube Bag
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
It's a good top tube bag that easily holds my phone, energy gels and a few other things that I want quick access to without taking my backpack off. It's not too big, nor is it too small. There are a few different sized straps that are included to fit a variety of top tubes. The bag fit on my Santa Cruz Chameleon Carbon with no issues. There are two mount holes in the bottom for screwing into mount holes, but my top tube doesn't have any. I installed the included rubber plugs and plastic grommets in the screw holes, but it was a bit difficult to get them seated properly. I had to use a small socket to push as hard as I can to seat the grommet on the plug. Other that that, I've been very happy with it! Also worth mentioning as a response to the previous review, the zipper starts off as very stiff and hard to unzip one handed. The more you use the zipper, the more the fabric will loosen up and allow you to easily open the bag one handed while riding. I have had no issues after the initial break-in. I'll follow up if there are any long-term issues, but I really like this bag so far!
Blackburn Outpost Top Tube 2.0 Bag
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Decent bag with enough storage for cell phone and point and shoot. It's difficult to unzip while riding so i'd probably go with the revelate or salsa bag if i had a redo. Not entirely waterproof either.
