Core Pro Floor Pump

If a bike shop mechanic was looking for the perfect bike pump to use at home, he would choose the Blackburn Core Pro Floor Pump. The alloy construction is built to withstand constant use, and Blackburn expanded the pump shaft to increase the inflation speed. If you travel with your bike, the extended hose is capable of reaching your valves while your bike sits on the back of your car, and Blackburn's AirTap head fits Presta, Schrader, and even Dunlop valves so you can always be the hero if someone breaks out a pump with the wrong head. Perhaps our team's favorite feature was the tripod base that kept everything stable, even as we pumped up the jam on rutted terrain.

This pump is a waste of space.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Pump valving is terribly loose, if you pump to slow the valve wont seal and you build no pressure, so you must pump wicked fast to push any air. If you were hoping that it would be a good pump for seating tubless tires you better turn back now, it takes decades to pump even the smallest 23mm tires. The pump head is poorly designed and bends presta valves. This thing is a glorified paper weight and does not belong in anybodys shop or garage.

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I rarely write reviews. I should have given up on this pump when I had to return/exchange the first one I ordered because it didn't work on arrival. Takes forever to pump up mtb tires and I'm pretty sure it bends the interior part of presta valves. It's a pump... should be straightforward. My previous Topeak lasted 15 years. Don't waste $100 on this pump.
