Click Rear Light

Rather than sifting through dozens of light combos, you'd rather just grab a small, minimal light as extra reassurance for the times you're riding on shady, dusk-lit roads. Free of frills but perfectly functional, Blackburn's Click USB Rear Light fits the bill.

The petite light runs on a rechargeable lithium polymer battery that can be rebooted on-the-go via a USB charging cord, and you can turn it on easily from the saddle with a quick push of the lens. An LED Fuel Gauge lets you keep tabs on where your battery stands, and the light is certified to IP65 waterproof standards, meaning it can handle an unexpected summer storm without a problem. The included silicone mount attaches the Click cleanly to your rear seatpost, where you can forget about it until you need it.

This works fine for 1-2 hr rides.

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have several of these lights ,which I often alternate . They can be used on front or rear ( versatile). I use them for the occasional night road rides less than 2 hours ,or if I'm riding from daylight without the light on into early evening, as insurance. I have other lights that last longer which I use for 2+ hour rides. If you need a light to last longer ,get a different light or put two on and use the second one when the 1st turns off. These things are small enough, you could always stack them on your seat post and when one runs out, switch the other one on. No big deal. Don't understand all these complaints. Just know what you're getting and I think you will be happy. They aren't much different to USB charge than other lights and turning on can sporadically be tricky ,but usually they are easy.

Battery life sucks

Do not buy this product, after 5-6 rides the battery barely lasts an hour. The other reviews are accurate.

Click Rear Light

Light works fine for short rides 1-1.5 hours, but does not last for a 3-5 hour ride when flashing on a full charge. Will return and look for a better light.

Hard to turn it on/off

Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought it inside the combo. My main concern is that is not easy to start/stop, not intuitive at all.

Short use and difficult to charge

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Just as others have said, this light does not last very long and it's difficult to plug in and charge. It's bright (for 20 lumens) and mounts well to standard seatposts. So if you only need an ok tail light for short rides and you have a good USB plug, it should be fine, otherwise avoid buying this one and find one that lasts longer, brighter, and easier to charge.

Nice Light

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I was a little hesitant after reading the reviews on this light, but I gave it a shot and so far the light has been great. It is a little challenging to turn on at first, but you will get the hang of it. Brighter than most I have owned in the past, easy to recharge (no need to fiddle with batteries), easy to take on and off, and a decent price. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a simple visibility solution to biking around town.

The absolute worst

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I hurt my thumb trying to even get the thing to turn on, plus the fact that it lasts for no time - just an awful, awful product - how did this get through QA? it is honestly impossible to turn it on, or off, so while your friends are inside the coffee shop drinking their pre-ride coffees, you'll be outside, hurting your thumbs. There's a special place in hell for people who make products this bad!

Simple works well.

Battery life sucks

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I liked the idea of this light as I could clip it to the back of my helmet for added safety. Unfortunately, due to its incredibly short battery life (even when used in blinking mode) it is not very useful.

Short battery life, USB is crap

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

Light only lasts about 2 hours, not good when you're in the dark and it dies. The micro USB plug is not well designed and won't hold the cable. Have to play with it several times and hope it stays in. I have 2 of these and they both have the same issues. I had high hopes but I simply can't recommend it.
