Chamber Tubeless Floor Pump

Tubeless tires grant us a whole new freedom from flats, but we still encounter moments of frustration with them — particularly when it comes to seating a new tire without a proper pump. Most of us don't have air compressors at home, but fortunately Blackburn has you covered with the Chamber Tubeless Floor Pump. The Chamber Tubeless Floor Pump allows you to pressurize an air chamber by hand with the oversized Hold Tight riser bar, and release all of the air in one burst, making seating tubeless tires a breeze.

The pump has a large footprint, with an 11-inch base and 28-inch height, making it easy to comfortably pump, and a large pressure gauge sits on top in an easy-to-spot location with vibrant colors so you can easily read the gauge. It works with the flip of a Charge switch, that enables you to fill the chamber with air before releasing it all at once, and once the initial burst to seat the tire has been done, you can pump it direct-to-valve to dial your PSI into the right spot. The Chamber Tubeless floor pump rocks an Anyvalve chuck which works for a variety of valve tyles, including Presta, Schrader and Dunlop, so you don't have to stress it if you need to inflate tires on your buddy's bike. It pumps up to 50 PSI into your tire, which more than covers the majority of tubeless needs. We won't deny that blasting air into a tubeless tire at speed scares us, so we're thankful that the pump comes with a hue 47-inch hose, allowing you to keep a safe distance while pumping incase the burst of air sends your tire off of your rim in a big blast.

Has worked well for me so far.

I've put it through the wringer
True to size

Has worked well for me inflating Maxxis, Bontrager, Conti, Schwalbe MTB (mostly 29x2.35) and Conti Road tires with tubeless beads on tubeless rims. I've removed the valve cores to increase the airflow. Usually seats the beads in one go. Sometimes have to top off a bit with the pump to seat the beads. Nice for road trips when away from the air compressor. Gauge and chuck are nice. Gauge agrees well with a standalone SKS digital gauge. For race support it'd be nice if the reservoir could be pressurized and sealed off, ready to go in the pit while still being able to use the pump. Separate bottle and pump are better setup for that scenario.

Cool looking but ineffective

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought this pump to help me seat my tubeless tires. Was excited to swap tires on my CX bike and took off my slicks, in hope of replacing them with knobbies. 3 people, 6 exhausted cyclist arms later, we gave up and used another pump. The chamber doesn't release the air with enough force, making the pump inefficient at seating tires.

Works Sporadically

I've used this pump a decent amount of times now between my bikes and some buddies bikes. I give it about a 1 out of 5 chance that it will actually seat a tire. It's frustrating pumping up the chamber again and again and not getting that satisfying pop sound. I've owned plenty of other quality Blackburn products that I have been very happy with but this is an exception. I havent had great luck with some other brands chamber pumps either so I would recommend just spending your money on a compressor.

Best pump I have had

I've put it through the wringer

I was looking for a pump to replace my old floor pump. I don't have a compressor and Ive had to go to a buddies house when I wanted to swap tires. This pump has been amazing. Very well build, solid construction. Has also been great for setting up new tires.

It works!

I've put it through the wringer

Works as advertised! It has pumped up hundreds of tires, and seated quite a few tubeless setups without any problems. Hose is nice and long to reach tires in the highest of stands. As a tip, I would recommend removing the valve core when seating tubeless to get more airflow, and then top off. Also, the gauge seems fairly accurate but does take a moment to fall to tire pressure when pumping due to the large air chamber. Added bonus is the ability to put your favorite pair of carbon bars on for extra bling factor!
