Vision Helmet

The Vision Helmet is Black Diamond's most durable foam helmet for climbing. It has an updated design to the innovative hybrid construction that climbers have been enjoying for seasons. The polycarbonate shell covers a larger portion of the crown, and there's a layer of EPS foam underneath for added crown protection. EPP foam covers the rest of the helmet for multi-impact protection. The suspensions system adjusts for a secure fit, and removable padding customizes the helmet's fit for even greater comfort.

I like the fit, and it's small enough to throw in my bag easily. I can forget I'm wearing it except for the confidence boost of I'm wearing a helmet. Bonus it looks nice

I get the idea why helmets are important. That's obvious. But I'm pretty sure every helmet company thinks everyone who climbs is 6'4" where these helmets will match the ratio of the climber from the neck up. If you're short like I am, this is like wearing another entire head on top of your own head. It adds like 6 inches straight up and makes you feel top heavy, even with it being light. These helmet designs just feel and look strange. My 4 year old Half Dome from BD is the only helmet I've ever tried out that feels like it's a normal size.
