Trail Pro Shock Trekking Poles
The Black Diamond Trail Pro Shock Trekking Poles are lightweight and shock-absorbing, the perfect companion for long, rocky trails. Control Shock Technology absorbs impacts on the ground so your final mile feels as good as the first, and its controlled rebound prevents the pole from bouncing back too much, as some poles are prone to do. The foam grip provides a bit of insulation to keep your hand warm during chilly hikes, and the padded webbing strap makes each pole specific to your left and right hands for easy access and extra comfort. The aluminum shaft is both durable and lightweight, and FlickLock Pro lets you collapse and deploy the length with ease for fuss-free transport through the trail's ups and downs.

- I've used it several times
Just purchased this set in August. One of the poles makes a metallic 'ping' noise with every step. We've tried adjusting every movable part to no avail. Contacting customer service.

- I've put it through the wringer
I bought them as a gift for the wife and she loves them. Anytime we go for a hike she has to bring her trekking poles. She loves the light weight and compactability. She also loves the ability to adjust it on the fly. If your looking for stability hiking, trekking poles are the way to go.

An Extension of my Arm
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- True to size
I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with hiking/trekking poles. They’ve always been a bother to use, the extension gives, my hands sweat and slip on the cork grips, or the wrist loop rubs my wrist raw. I’m here to tell you these Black Diamond poles have changed my mind. I did a short 4.5 mile loop with them today and they helped push me up the inclines and kept me steady while running down the trail. They were easy to lock into place, the cushioned grip was just enough for me, and I never noticed the wrist loops. On a couple of occasions I lodged the tip of the pole in a crack on the trail, but the small basket prevented the pole from getting terribly stuck. Really impressed thus far. I can’t wait to put them through the wringer.
