They're lightweight and easy to strap on my pack if I don't feel like I need them for particular trail (but they're there just in case!). When I use them I almost feel like it's a similar motion to cross country skiing and I like that my arms are getting a workout too on my hikes!

Fantastic poles

Love BD poles. Cork is super comfortable. Collapse small and very well-built. Best that money can buy with incomparable durability.

Great strength & versatility

These have been awesome as ski poles & hiking poles thanks to the various baskets they come with. Light but strong & packable, I would recommend these to anyone looking for a do it all all set of poles.

Easy to set up!

I got these for my wife, she is a AAC member but lets me do the EV shopping! Finally, no more twisting to lock poles! Good "old-fashioned clips" work great. These are nice lightweight poles. The cork grip gets dirty over time but as a medium, on your hand, I /we prefer it to rubber. These come with snow baskets as well as the usual baskets so you can use them all year round. Altogether they have the usual BD quality you would expect. Bonus that the color matched my wife's backpack!

Great Womens Trekking Poles

I got these poles so that when me or my family go hiking I can offer them to who ever wants to use them. They are great for adding that additional stabilization for going over rough terrain.

Comfortable and reliable

I took these poles on a steep backpacking trip and they did not let me down as I hiked through 2ft of snow, 1ft of water, and climbed over dozens of downed trees. Had I not had these poles, I think I would have needed to turn around. I liked the slim profile and the cork handles were very comfortable! I could not tell whether or not the ergo design of the grip made a difference, but I loved the way that they felt in my hands and they put my wrists at a really natural angle. The color is really nice as well - not too bright or overbearing. I do wish that rubber tips were included. I was a little bummed I had to purchase the rubber tips separately. EDIT: A few months after making this review, I found that the cork on these poles does chip easily. A large chunk of the cork fell out while in the middle of a backpacking trip, which made the grip very uncomfortable. When I got home, I shredded the cork from a wine bottle, then mixed it with some glue and filled in the spot, but I was pretty bummed that such a large piece of cork fell out. Even months later, though, I would still recommend these poles.

Best Pole You Can Hold

Just got done giving these poles the whatfor in the Grand Canyon. 5 days, 4000' descent (then the climb out), had to throw them down a 15' downclimb and they did awesome. Much better than my previous carbon poles. Great grip. Super Comfy. Highly recommended for all

Great poles

The grips are really great. On a 14 day 75 mile rocky backpacking trip in New Mexico the rubber tech tips worked great. I was surprised how durable the small rubber tips are. I brought a second set but didn’t need them

Great Trekking Poles

these poles are light, responsive, and easy to adjust. I've used them a ton, and never had any issues with them. When mine eventually give out, I'll get the same pair again for sure

Compact and durable

These have been great. The trekking poles are light weight but sturdy and easy to adjust. The cork handles make for an easy grip that reduces hand sweat.
