Simple and Warm
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
This glove is simple and gets the job done. I've used this extensively on cold and dry days in the Wasatch while ski touring with good results. If you are prone to sweating more than the average Joe and need to take the glove on and off, it can sometimes be difficult to get each finger into the correct hole again when the glove's internals are wet.

Too warm for my hands
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
I ended up exchanging these gloves for another similar pair because they were just a bit too warm to wear on the skin track. I think that these would be absolutely wonderful winter "do things" like shovel snow, pick ice off of your car, or take the dog for a walk gloves.

Beware the Cold
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I've tried to use these gloves on numerous occasions now with less than favorable results. The coldest I was able to wear this glove and be comfortable was in the 40-50F range. Perhaps these would be okay for hanging around camp to fend off a bit of a chill, but I couldn't see using these gloves in any serious cold weather situation.

Nothing Like It!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I've been looking for a well insulated/water-resist glove, and this is the one! Can't say to much on performance since I just received it, but I can see myself using it for spring ski days, cold morning commutes and camping trips. Black Diamond does a great job with how their gloves perform in different weather conditions. This glove was rated 15-40 degrees F. I run warmer so I can see myself wearing this gloves in colder conditions. I normally wear a size medium in Black Diamond but for an efficient cut I'm glad I purchased a small. There is still plenty of room to be comfortable!

A Decadent Sleeping Bag for Your Hand
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These are COZY! From just putting them on inside my house to the winter winds of the Wasatch, these have kept my mitts at a most comfortable temperature through it all. My one beef with these glorious duders is the general lack of dexterity. It's a bit like trying to scratch that one spot on your back while wearing a very puffy jacket.
