Nice pants
They run a little tight and aren't rally long enough for tall folks (6'5" and 205)

Perfect all around pant
I've been looking for an athletic/hiking pant that I can also wear to work and found it with the Spire pant. I've tried several others in the past few months and they were either too big in the hips or too small in the legs, Spire fits perfectly, with enough looseness in the thighs they allow for more free movement.

Buy them
Wear them all the time for all sorts of things. Vertical rock, alpine, hiking, this new thing people are doing called yogging. Sleep comfy in a sleeping bag in them also. Winter wear goes down unless I’m moving hard the whole time. I’ve tried The North Face version of these, Patagonia version, and Rab and these are just the best. The leg lengths are tricky I will say (I normally cinch the elastic around my ankle due to the length being in the drag off the heel realm), and I needed to tweak my sizing but I love ‘em. I have alder shwacked in them and no worries. I have not scrapped through slots in then so dunno if that would tear’em up. Anyway, solid pant. I’m 5’11 - 165lb - normally wear small or 30in waist pants and I needed a Medium in these.

LOVE everything but this serious flaw
The build quality, design, and materials make these absolutely great. However, they are missing belt loops near the button which causes the front of the pants to slip underneath a belt and bunch uncomfortably after wearing them for more than a few minutes. The spacing between the opening and the first belt loop is double the of PrAna's or Kuhl's (pictured). I have literally never seen this in any other pair of pants/shorts. I tried different belts, utilizing the built-in belt, washed/dried with high heat, tucked in a shirt--anything to justify the quirk and still they ride in that weird way. I have gotten to the point where I am looking for a seamstress to add loops to fix the issue. Until this quirk is worked out, I can't recommend them to anyone.

Great fit and style but showing some wear around all the seams. Integrity fine but now I don’t wear casually. Getting a second pair for that.

Great but…
I love these pants; however, without the ability to order various waist to inseam ratios, it is a drawback. These pants are more suitable to taller lean people than those of average height.

Spire Pants Review
Pants fit well in terms of groin area and quads. When wearing a harness, there were no issues in the crotch region. They are a relaxed, comfortable fit. Just keep in mind that they are cotton and so if they get wet they will not thermally protect you.

great pants
These pants have a great fit, are comfortable, and are holding up. Perfect for climbing, building a cabin, or a night out on the town. I've had them for about 8 months and no sign of wear yet.

Amazing pants! Super comfortable and perfect amount of stretch. The fit is slimmer fitted but not too slim. Super durable and I love the built in waist belt. Definitely recommend!
