Fit is deceiving, especially when wet
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit:
- True to size
- Size Bought
- Medium
- Height

- Weight

Bought this as a running/hiking shirt. Took it for a late run upon arrival, washed with tech soap and air dried, then ran in it again. Both times the shirt was scratchy, and as it got wet it stretched down to my thighs. Yes, it's true to size when it's dry, but it's not once it gets wet. Not a huge fan of this shirt. Perhaps it will fare better on the hiking trails.

I got this as a backup to my TREW Gear shirt because I like the Nuyarn fabric. I recently wore this shirt for 3 days backpacking in PIsgah National Forest where the temperature was in the mid 80s with high humidity and rain storms each day. The shirt dried fairly quickly and didn’t retain much stink at all. I have washed it twice total and it seems to be holding up great. As others have stated, the shirt tail is just a little long for my taste, but it’s not a dealbreaker. I would say it runs somewhat large. I ordered a XL, but probably would prefer a Large.

Loved this shirt so much I bought it twice! The merino blend regulates temperature incredibly well which makes it perfect for alpine starts or long, cool days in the mountains. The fit, as another review mentioned, is a little long which I didn't mind, but it's certainly not excessively long. Through the chest and torso, it fits slim but not snug and the sleeves are a bit on the short side. Additionally, the fabric can feel a little clingy out of the bag but with a few wears and washes, the shirt softens up substantially. All in all, it's a great piece! I would wear this shirt on every run if I could - and the merino makes it tempting - but I'll settle for 2-3 times per week. Highly recommend.

Too long. It's kinda like wearing a dress. For comparison it's about 3 inches longer than athletic shirts by the north face or Patagonia, but if you sweat a lot it hangs lower and lower until it looks like you're not wearing shorts. Otherwise its quite slim fitting. Excessive static buildup makes it really clingy and uncomfortable .

Softest. Shirt. Ever.

This is the softest shirt ever. Incredibly light, too. Definitely warmer than the equivalent weight synthetic knit/mesh fabric, but probably about the same temp as a synthetic non-mesh shirt (e.g. capilene). Quite comfortable even when sweaty with no discernible odor after a few sweaty wears. Very quick drying. For me, it's perfect for either lower-output activities above 65˚ or higher output below that. Fit is a comfortable slim fit. At 5'10, 180# athletic build, L is comfortable and not skin tight, but also not too long. M would probably work because of stretch, but would be very form fitting.
