The Black Diamond Recon BT is a user-friendly avalanche beacon with all the features you need for a quick, efficient search. Its three antenna design reduces signal spikes, or the situation when a beacon mistakenly points to an incorrect location, which drastically improves accuracy during a search when compared to more traditional two antenna beacons, and the 60-meter circular range allows you to pick up the victim's signal from farther away. In the event that you have to search for multiple victims, the mark function enables you to flag each victim as you find them so you can move on to searching for the next victim while your partner starts to probe. Unique from other beacons on the market, the Recon's Bluetooth compatibility lets you connect it to your smartphone so you can easily manage settings and software updates, and it's compatible with iProbe for more extensive search capabilities.
