Super light and packable probe
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I recently purchased a this probe because I was looking for a probe that was long and light. This probe is just that! At 10 oz this 320 cm carbon probe is as light as many 240 cm aluminum probes and it packs down to 40 cm. It is also very quick and easy to put together and take down, which is key in an avalanche situation.

one quick pull and you are probing, time is key in avalanche situations. the faster you can get the gear you need out the better the chances you have of finding that individual. this prob is fast to assemble and break down, it being carbon it is a bit strong and lighter than the typical probe.

Every other site on the net lists this as 13oz. Any chance someone can check the actual weight for me please? NM- even BD has it listed as 13oz. Your site needs updating for this product, I believe.
