These screw-on baskets easily dislodge from the pole in snow. The previous ones I got from you were more durable since they had an additional lock-in mechanism. The recent ones do not have that lock-in feature. Too bad! I won't buy them again.

Bigger is Better

In a world where tiny racing baskets are too commonplace and standard on a new set of poles, these can right the wrong! What use is a pole that sinks? Probably the best budget friendly upgrade to your touring kit or inbounds powder rig.

Quality baskets

I bought them for a resort trip like a noob, but in comparison to the cheap ones I have, the materials are choice. Flexible yet sturdy. Can’t wait to actually put them to the test.

Spare parts

Great to have access to spare baskets. A mechanic’s vice means they will stay put.

Solid when they stay on

When they're on, they're great, providing tons of floatation and keeping poles well above even powdery snow. I've had several work themselves free in the last few seasons, though - the threaded connection could be a bit better.

Buyer beware!

They thread on to the poles but don't seem to lock on. They don't seem to be the correct baskets. I'm disappointed as these are no longer available in stores. I was told to try online and now I'm stuck with these!

Hi everyone, do the powder baskets fit on all the poles of Black Diamond, more precisely on the distance series?

I've put it through the wringer

I have Salomon S3 All-mountain poles but I wanted a powder basket on them. I was able to swap the basket with these Black Diamonds and they fit perfectly. I followed the other reviewer's suggestion to use a hair drier to heat the pole and the basket which made installation much easier.

Perfect and a good price

Not much you can say, cheap and fit well on my poles.

Doesn't work on my poles

I've been trying to get these to screw into my trailback poles, to no avail. They just don't fit.
