    Nylon Sewn Runners

There's no doubt you've seen Black Diamond's Nylon Sewn Runners on the mountains while climbing, tied to chickenheads, slung around trees, and bleached by the sun. That's because climbers trusted these smooth, colorful, and durable slings before colorful spandex was a thing in the vertical world. The question you have to ask yourself is, do you trust the old, manky runner already attached to the wall, or do you bring a spare to bail off of when the route gets too serious? We recommend the latter.

    • Classic runners trusted by climbers for generations
    • Durable nylon bar-tacked together for high strength
    • Color-coded based off size for easy identification
    • Item #BLD00HR

    Great Sewn Runners

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use these slings for setting up anchors or as a PAS when I clean a route. I'm sure there's a thousand other uses for them. They are light, super durable, easy to dress when knotted, and really easy to untie if dressed properly.

    Love this runner!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is one of my go to runner for all things anchor building. Whether its setting up a top rope or mutli-pitch anchors, this little (but sturdy) runner does the trick. I think the triple length is a great size for my climbing endeavors!

    It's a great runner!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

From quickdraws to slings, what more could you ask for? It's slim, functional, and simple great quality. I'm not complaining I really like it. Thin enough to be easily accessible through a crag and remain kind of hidden on a wall, but is strong enough for falls and bomb-proof anchors

    Well Made

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Pretty straightforward but these are well made, reliable runners. I mostly use them for anchors and they're fantastic.

    Great Anchor

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I have used this a few time so far and it has worked out great. I have mainly used this as a personal anchor while climbing truss and working around scaffolding. It is the perfect length to let me hang at the right distance to get what I need done. Check it out if you are looking for a good new anchor.

    Solid, simple, & multi-purpose

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Solid and durable nylon slings that do the job. I use the 120 cm length easily the most (on anchors, as a PAS, to extend my rappel...) but all four lengths have come in handy. I like to use a few of the 30 cm's to organize my gear.

    Great for anchors

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got the 120 cm to set up my top rope anchors and it has been awesome!! No problems whatsoever. Black Diamond never fails to supply quality climbing gear.

    Secure and Inexpensive

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great for building secure anchors and inexpensive enough to leave behind if you need to bail. They also come in handy when you need to extend the pro on the ascent. Bomber gear!

    Unanswered Question

How much weight can they hold? Is this a wise choice for a personal anchor system?
