Everything in this package is solid for starting to climb! Got it as a gift for my fiance, and everything has worked really well so far, no complaints. Chalk bag was a light teal, very pretty.

I love this harness it fits nice and snug right at the waist for me and nothing pinching when I climb. I got a light blue color chalk bag which I don’t mind at all, I guess it’s random on what color you get. The only worry I had was what kind of chalk I would be getting since it doesn’t specify and everyone just kept saying it wasn’t what’s shown in the picture. What I got was a chalk ball which I don’t mind at all even though it not a reusable one, but less mess for me. Overall love it

Other than shoes, this is all you need to get climbing. Quality harness, ATC, and carabiner. The chalk bag I received was black and works for the time being. The chalk I received was not the loose powder, but the small chalk shot, which was not my jam.

This package made everything quick and easy, the chalk bag was a different color however it's going to get chalky anyways so no biggie. If you're between sizes, size up, at least that's what I've found being a 33 inch waist (the large was perfect)!

Great Intro Package

I got this for my friend who is starting to climb/rappel. This is a great starter pack with all the essentials! He loved it and was so excited to start using it. The harness fit well and is a great color! The chalk bag color is random though, and not just the black like the photo.

Great starter package for getting into climbing. All pieces of the set up are well made. Nothing fancy or over the top, just a solid harness and all the basic equipment you need to get into the sport. Great setup for beginners and a great deal for the price.

You can literally open your package and start climbing! It has the basics for climbing at a great price! I got a great color of chalk bag! I am 230 and 6'1. I would need to use the L/XL (I got the M/L and barely fit in it!)

Great intro to climbing

I got this package when I first started getting into climbing, a year and a half later of heavy indoor and outdoor use it is still working great! The chalk bag that it comes with is random, but it's a chalk bag and not a huge deal. The great thing about this package is you can easily upgrade and replace, I wanted to use a gri gri in the gym for belaying, so I put the ATC aside for a bit, but now it is great for rappeling outdoors. Can't go wrong with this package!

It feels good to get a quality pack of climbing gear from a trusted brand! Whether you are getting into climbing, or are a seasoned expert just getting an extra harness this is for you! I am 6"2" and 230 and purchased the large. For my size, I think the XL would be a better choice! Hope that helps someone!

Great Starter Package

I have used this harness package all summer and I love it. I was not much of a climber in the beginning so I got this package and I have started to really love the sport. This is a basic package but it comes with everything that you would need to get started in climbing. The color of the chalk bag is a random set of colors so you might not get the all grey version. Mine came with a yellow chalk bag but I do not really care about colors that much so it works just fine for me.

Starter Pack doesn't Disappoint

I bought this as a gift for my fiance to get him started for climbing. This is such a great package for someone who is beginning to climb or just having as an extra for friends and family visiting is perfect. We use it indoors right now, but going to put it through the test outdoors here soon. So far the fit is pretty true to size where the waist is involved. He's 6'4 190 and the large was good where there was enough for tightening or expansion. The belay device is a standard ATC-XP with the option or right or lefties. If you're looking for a more low-profile and quick releasing carabiner you might want to upgrade, but for our purposes it works wonderfully. Also if your heart is set on getting the grey chalk bag you might end up getting another color. We got a burnt yellow sort of color and it was a pleasant surprise!

The Black Diamond Momentum harness is irrefutably excellent. If you are looking to get in to climbing or are looking for a gift for the aspiring climber in your life, this package is a sure winner and includes everything necessary to take on the gym with the exception of shoes. The Momentum is the kind of harness you can buy for your first harness and still be using it long after you've mastered 5.10's. It's comfortable, relatively light, and doesn't take up too much space. The rocklock carabiner is pretty standard (that is to say, I would trust it to suspend me over a pit of starving alligators) but the ATC-XP that is included has machined windows on the sides to make it lighter and is likely a step above what you might find in other climbing packages. The chalk bag has a good build quality and comes with a belt which is always nice. Although, as another site user mentioned, the chalk bag color does seem to vary as I received a yellow bag instead of teal or gray. Honestly though, all of the colors for the Mojo bag are great. There is a XS, L, XL, and XXL size available but when I check on Chart size there are a lot of models. Momentum DS is this harness model? There is a size XS/M. Or there is just Big Gun, Aspect, Momentum, Xenos? There are no XS size.
