Amazing Belay Carabiner

I have owned the Magnetron Gridlock for over a year now and have been nothing but pleased. It's a little on the heavy side, but it's not too noticeable. Feels good in the hand and the Magnetron system works amazing. Although in icy/ wet conditions it can and will freeze up. Also, it's a little tricky and somewhat over complicated to get the Gridlock onto your belay loop, you have to first open the gate and get it on your belay device, then you have to close it, spin the carabiner around, re --open the gate, and finaggle your belay loop into the special clip area. Not a fan of doing that repeatedly and getting it off is even more complicated. It is a good looking carabiner and it performs well, but I just don't like how you have to do that whole process wto take it off or put it on. Am looking at the Grivel Clepsydra and will probably buy soon. Overall, it is an amazing carabiner that excels at its one job. Will co tinie yo use and abuse.
