Great sturdy tent, but found it needed additional coating to keep it water proof

Worth the extra room

This is perfect for gear storage or boots. Tent is already water resistant but this adds another level and keeps an outside space dry. Opening isn’t tall and requires stakes for best use. With rain in hot climate you can leave the mesh opening up in the tent and open vestibule flap for some breeze.

Perfect shelter to weather a storm

This tent is perfect for assembling from the inside out to allow you to shelter from quick moving storms! Saved our trip and kept moral high. The color is bright and looks great.

Nice addition to a great tent.

Really gives you that space to store gear in so you’re not totally cramped in the tent. Setting up is super intuitive, simply so.

Not designed for wind and snow

Although this tent is light weight, it doesn't match expectations of a four season tent. When used in snow with wind, the snow blows into the tent through the vents, covering everything inside. There is even a mesh vent on the vestibule, letting snow cover everything left in that too. It's hard to picture the right conditions where you'd want to use this tent. The tent is comfortably sized for two people and a small dog.

Took this on a 10 day backcountry backpacking trip over 10k' in the Uinta national forest. Brought my dog who shared the vestibule with my pack when weather hit. Bombproof. It provided great ventilation when the weather was warm and didn't accumulate a whole lot of moisture inside when it rained because of the weatherproof vents. Highly recommend.

The toughest part about this tent (aside fromt he blue burning into your retinas) will be setting it up with the poles inside the tent. To earn its four season rating, it forfeits a rain fly for weight which means there's only one wall that needs to brave mountaintop winds or inclement weather so it's no easy task propping it up. The good news is search and rescue crew would be able to spot you from a mild and the ventilation for the windows stand the entire size of the doors.
