    Forged Denim Pant

The Men's Forged Denim Pant is most certainly sleek and stylish enough to wear around town, but Black Diamond optimized it for climbs ranging from V11 boulders to Yosemite's big walls. It's made of a special Cordura Stretch Denim fabric that's extremely durable against the rock and remarkably light and stretchy for performance-oriented comfort. Despite its stylish slim fit, the Forged Denim has a slight taper to promote freedom of movement. The button and belt loops are all designed with a lower profile to accommodate harnesses more comfortably, and the brush pocket is located next to one of the back pockets.
    • Black Diamond's best denim for rock climbing
    • Cordura Stretch Denim feels durable and remarkably light
    • Slim fit with slight taper for full mobility on the climb
    • Low-profile waist accommodates harnesses comfortably
    • Integrated brush pocket

Pretty good product from BD. The fit is slightly baggier than I'd like, but I'm a skinny climber. Stretchy and durable, though too heavy to make sense on long days. Good for single pitch desert routes and bouldering. One complaint: the pocket totally wore out almost immediately, which is pretty annoying.

I’m 6’2 and have a “dad bod” I just bought the 36 inch waist. These are the most amazing jeans. I swore I would never wear anything but Levi’s, but this fit and this denim are revolutionary. My fear is that they won’t sell enough and stop making them. Patagonia always discontinues or changes their best classics. Drives me nuts. So, I just bought every color. Over $400 in denim. Worth it. I love jeans and I love love these. The denim is new age, with stretch, but it’s quality Cordura. They aren’t chince. I’ve never spent this much on jeans and usually buy $40 Levi’s . But fit is tough for me. I have a waist, a tummy, and no butt. Most jeans sag in the back. Not these. They are slim, but they have a subtle strength that you don’t even notice is happening. They are just perfect. My school principal is new and the dress code has been casual, but jeans on fridays. I think I’m going to forget the Friday “rule” and see what happens when I wear a shirt and tie and these jeans every day to school this September. I have a 33 inseam but the 32 covers to the shoe perfectly.

Well made with a great cut and fit. I bought a pair of each color after liking my first pair so much and now I like them too much to climb in them. I'm sorry, they're just too cool to scuff up.
