Creek Transit 32L Backpack

Built with the crag in mind, the Black Diamond Creek Transit 32 Backpack is a durable and waterproof commuter bag with the chops to stand up to Mother Nature's abuse, but it is built to get you from home to work with all your essentials dry and intact. The external entry 15-inch laptop sleeve provides protection for your digital stash, and the reflective details keep you visible in low light for when the work shift extends later into the evening than expected and your commute home involves dodging through traffic. Plus, the Creek has a separate zippered bottom compartment for climbing or running shoes, sweaty clothes, and whatever other nasty stuff you want to keep consolidated and tucked away from your day kit.

Fantastic Backpack

Used this for traveling, climbing, commuting, to even storing jiu jitsu gi’s and rash guards. Is a perfect all around backpack. I’ve retired it and gave it to a friend who needed a nice bag and I already miss it. May have to buy another at some point.

Great bag for climbers who work in offices

Great organization and durability for commuting to work and hitting the gym on the way.

like the bag, hate outer material

bought Creek Transit 32 about 12-14 month ago. Not a heavy user - pretty much as a backpack to ride a motorcycle. after 3-4 month outer material started cracking. Than crumbling around joints and handles. Now its crumbling everywhere. Unfortunately cannot add photos. Really like the design, but outer cover just does not measure up.

Flawed shoulder straps

I love the pack, but the shoulder straps have a flawed design. The fabric is glued on the front of the straps and the webbing is inserted into a slot instead of a seam. Black Diamond replaced my pack when the shoulder strap started coming apart - and then the same thing happened to the replacement pack. I replaced the straps myself with a set from a fifteen year old Patagonia Black Hole 32l that had seen better days. The Patagonia straps are amazing and I'm using the Creek Transit 32 again. Still waiting for someone to notice the mismatch.

Very good pack

Super well built. The material is rugged, the zippers and stitching are quality and the pockets are perfect for transporting tech. The bottom gear stow is also awesome when hitting the gym before work My only notes are that this pack should include a strap for rope carry and the bottom sort of digs into the lower back when bike commuting

Love it!

This bag is colored as shown, and love it. It’s got all the pockets and we’ll thought out placement. Very durable, and built to last. Used it for a weekend trip to an island close by for snorkeling and a hiking trip. Was great for 4 days for all my stuff and more. Love it! This is a small upsize for me, but the shape and versatility makes it still very wearable on my small female frame.

Great day to day pack

I have for years been looking for a day to day pack that would work both for my profetional job as well as my day to day activities. This pack fits the bill to a T ! It has enough storage to accomidate my needs for work as well as my climbing gear for after work . No more tossing two bags into the car!

Great Bag

I wanted something small enough for carry on for flights. This works perfect.

Good backpack. Well designed

This backpack is very well designed. It may be a little big on some but I’m 6’ and it is perfect for me. It has enough space and pockets for everything. Overall, great backpack.

Keeps my books dry on campus and my gear dry on trail

Excellent product, got fed up after getting caught in an nyc downpour over the summer and decided to not let it happen again. This bag is excellent, comfortable, and has given me zero issues. I wish the main inner compartment had more dividers/pockets because the top zip off compartment with all the pockets tends to get a little stuffed and top heavy when Im using this for daily commuting but I have zero complaints. Likely going to get one in the smaller size too!
