Past Season’s Are Superior

Loved these pants for a few years and own several pairs from 2018/19 season. While I must agree that that era had its own faults (not enough space in the crotch) the overall fit and functionality was top of the line. The stretch and slimmer fit were perfect on the 18/19 batch and garnered compliments on the wall and on the town. I replaced much of my climbing and hiking pants with 4 pairs of the Credos and still swear by them. However, I’m severely disappointed with this year’s line. I ordered the Dark Curry color (which is not yellow, like in the photos) and was shocked by the drastically different fit. They feel like parachute pants instead of the signature fit and feel I had grown accustomed to with the 18/19 line. The only pluses include: stretchy pockets, spacious crotch (the cost of loose pant legs and sloppy look) Hoping that BD can return the 18/19 style and fit with added roominess in the crotch area (don’t need the stretchy pocket space, but will do for now). That being said, I will use these as beaters for granite/sharp routes and problems. Regardless, looking forward to what BD has in store and remain a loyal customer for their consistent commitment to feedback and state-of-the-art engineering involved in their R&D processes. Cheers!

Nice material but fit/cut is no bueno
Im 6', 175 pounds and purchased size 32. The pants are cut/designed in a way that makes them ride up in the crotch area, i.e., not enough space in the crotch area so it feels like there is constant pressure on your crotch. Material is nice and it appears they'll last but we'll see.....

I love these as a casual pant. They fit well and i love synching the hems and wearing them as a pair of capris. When it's time to tackle a route/problem the adjustable waist belt secures the perfect fit underneath a harness. they breathe well and I have yet to experience any durability issues.

I love these pants. They perform very well for bouldering and sport climbing, they are durable enough for desert crack climbing, and they are super comfortable. These are great all around pants.

I have searched for a long time for a pant that both fits great and will stand up to the daily abuse of climbing and normal life. The Credo pant from BD has the perfect balance of comfort and performance. They are cut well and stretch just the right amount for anyone interested in active pursuits. The breathability and integrated waist belt make them perfect for climbing. If you want a pant that crushes by day and fits in at night these are one of the best out there. I typically wear a 33X34 pant and the 34 with the integrated belt fit perfectly.
