Very nice pants. Good blend of comfort and durability. Although after a little over a year of minimal washing and maximum thrashing, I've had to employ my seamstress skills in a few places.

I think I got a dud pair

I?ve been a fan of BD pants for ages and have actually purchased this pant several times over the years. Not sure what happened with this particular pair but QC must have been asleep at the wheel. The material is comfy, they fit well enough, but they literally fell apart while on a route. The left ankle drawstring and catch pinged away into the void on the first pitch. The second pitch saw the waist/thigh seam blow out while setting up a belay. I?m a 6?2 175 pound, 51 year old male. I?m slow, mellow, and hardly thrash much of anything theses days. I get the feeling these pants would have started their self destruction process simply walking down the street. A bit of a bummer but maybe luckier the next time around....
