JJ Compactor split poles
Overall for this model and type of compactor pole they are great! I definitely use and abuse my gear in the extreme alpine environment and I would say my critique is the mechanism that collapses the poles is still subject to freeze and not work great… Other than that I love the length of the grips, the weight, and the overall feel. They fold up great and the mechanism that helps them fold is designed great and has exceptional stability.

Best splitboard poles!
Used multiple times now, absolutely amazing! Love how they fold up. I use the alpine whippet attachment. Came in clutch a few times! Life saver!

Nice and compact
Nice and compact sometimes the bottom spin because of the way it is made but doesn't bother the movement.

fantastic poles
bought two sets of these poles for splitboarding. previously had 3pc poles and even broken down they wouldn't fit inside my pack. These break down nice and fit inside without issue. They take seconds to put together and adjust to the proper length. Perfect splitboarding poles.

Just what I was looking for
These poles fit in my pack, are very robust, and I love that I can attach a whippet/ the Philips head built in. Really reduces the clunkyness of my pack and makes everything more streamline.. 10/10 would recommend

Lightweight high quality poles with lots of tech!
I was looking for some lightweight poles for splitboarding. They needed to fold down small to stuff in a backpack and these fit the bill perfectly. The main reason I got these poles is they work with the Black Diamond Whippet add-on. Looking forward to having a little bit more peace of mind when skinning up steeper mountains.

Best poles so far. Fold
Best poles so far. Fold compactly, extended in a snap, almost as light as similar non-folding ones.

Light and compact
Just got these poles in the mail and I'm impressed how compact and light they are. They also seem more durable than the Carbon Z poles I previously owned.

If you splitboard, these are the poles
These are my second pair of Compactors (had the gen 1's), and the upgrades here are noticeable. Longer foam handles, great "nose" on the grip to pull up lifter bars, stout & new metal buckles are tough. Big fan here!
