    Blur the boundary.

Ultralight carbon skis may be a dream on the skintrack, but you're going to get tossed if you take them inbounds. Built to float pow both in and out of the resort, the Black Diamond Boundary 115 Ski will be your go-to boards when you plan on getting lift-served freshies in the morning followed by a buffet of backcountry face shots in the afternoon.

Rocker in the tip and tail, camber underfoot, and a poppy poplar core make the Boundary 115 the obvious candidate when mother nature graces the mountains with a foot of fresh overnight. Their playful nature lets you slash and burn turns through the trees and quickly ditch speed before you point em straight through a narrow chute. And when you do get cruising, a pre-preg fiberglass laminate gives the ski a stiff and stable feel, so you can loosen up those turns with confidence. A healthy dose of camber underfoot holds an edge when you need them to and lets you carve a few groomers when you rally back down for another lap. BD integrated a sidewall dampening system into the ski, which consists of a layer of rubber integrated into the sidewall just in front of the boot to help eliminate chatter for a damp and stable feel.

    So Fun

One of my favorite skis I've ever worn. Slash powder, feel good on and off the ground and are a good time down the groomers.

Really like these on powder days. Light and easy to turn.
Rockered tip and tail and really soft

Just an effortless ski all around

Give me a ring with any questions. It's my job!

      All you really need

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have been on this ski for the last 3 years, and I have had nothing but good times. It is super functional for pretty much anything, but it really comes alive in the softer snow. It is a pretty flexy ski, but it isn't something that is going to buck you around in the the chop or when terrain gets rough. Pretty stable at higher speeds, and has enough softness through out the tip and tails to be able to absorb a lot of impact from what you are skiing through. This might be a little too fat for some people to have it be their everyday ski, but I have definitely made it mine, and have loved it. It is really a Jack of all Trades.

      Black Diamond Boundary 115

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Looking for a pow ski that can handle Chop, Crud and chunder as well? Look no further! The DB boundary 115 ski is rock solid. I personally ski the Black Diamond Amperage (very similar ski-same specs and profile but older model). After evaluating the boundary 115 skis it is clear to see that Black Diamond has really made an effort to eliminate chatter during use. The Black Diamond rubber sidewall dampening system in this model does a great job eliminating that chatter; which adds stability and dampness to the 115's ride. This additional feature really helps the ski excel in groomed and variable conditions. Overall, this ski is first and foremost a pow ski. However, this ski and the Black Diamond Amperage have both exceeded my expectations in variable conditions. Please feel free to reach out to me directly if you have questions.
