Awesome traction but wide shoes be warned
Burly traction in a light weight package, just stay on your forefoot. Toe loop is a little small to sit snuggly on a wide shoe (wide speed goats/altra lone peaks) which can cause it to roll off when off camber. Stays firmly in place on a more classic shoe shape (inov8 trail fly). Surprising running comfort and small enough package that you dont have to think so hard about bringing them along for those maybe days.

Great for "just in case"
I purchased them for trail running, just in case some parts of the trails are still icy. Compact enough to carry without adding a significant weight. I wear distance spikes when I know the trails are guaranteed to be icy, though.

Easy to use and light weight
They fit well. I like the design - light and compact. Hopefully the rubber strap around the back holds up. time will tell

Really lightweight
Easy to carry on the backpack and easy to put them on. The spikes are really lightweight and it is hard to notice while you hike.

Good traction, if they stay on
I like the minimalist design to these, and they do provide good traction while running. But they want to slip off way too easy.

Toe box strap too small
I wear Topo trail shoes that have a wide toe box. I liked everything about these spikes but there was no way the forefoot strap fits over my shoes. It ends up sliding to the front and falling off. I haven’t seen a review that mentions this problem but I can’t even imagine that the strap would fit over the forefoot of a boot. Am I the only person experiencing this problem?

They did the job
Bought these for a trip the Rocky Mountain National Park in June and they were a great item to have they are lightweight and when we encountered snow we could just throw them on really quick!!

Perfect for lightweight scrambles
Super small and lightweight. These live in my bag now for icy walks to work and scrambles. Very easy to put on one handed.

Excellent product
They are fantastic spikes to carry for uncertain conditions especially if you are keeping down weight for a thru hike or wilderness pass. Love!
