For my taste -- this sits HIGH on the head, so if you're looking for something with a smaller profile, look somewhere else. The design is great, but the fit isn't for me.

I am enjoying this hat, the quality is similar to other Black Diamond hats/clothing as in I've never had any problems whatsoever with quality control. Definitely pick up if you like black/gold colorways!

my first trucker hat

Trucker hat's really aren't my style typically, but this Black Diamond hat is actually very comfortable, and I do enjoy it while bouldering here in the PNW. Breathable, and easy to clean. Not a big fan of the brim, maybe one of a slightly shorter length on the bill would make this hat almost perfect for climbing. The logo is great from Black Diamond, the branding is solid.

Wrong hat twice

I ordered a hat. Backcountry sent me the wrong hat. I called and asked Backcountry to send me the correct hat. I received the wrong hat a second time. I called and they told me they were out of the hat that I ordered. I had to ship back 2 incorrect hats. Not a satisfied customer.

I love how this covers my dome! When I turned it backwards yesterday I noticed I was instantly climbing a few grades higher. This hat fit great right out of the box. I have a pretty small head and this doesn't look huge on me by any means. The bill is pre-formed a little bit so if you're looking for a flat bill, this may not be the best choice for you. The only complaint I had was that the tag is tucked into the band of the hat and visible through the mesh. It looked pretty tacky and took some effort to cut it near the stitching without mucking the stitches up.
