Alpine
Shirt feels great materials seem very high quality. Just the collar on the neck is loose wish it would stay put around the neck. I hope black diamond would change there return service it’s the worst service on the industry. You have to choose your own return shipping company and pay for the return. Probably won’t purchase from black diamond again.

Alpenglow long sleeve
Great shirt for working out in cooler temps. I originally got the hooded Alpenglow and love it so much I got the hoodless. Wicks sweat and dries quickly. Super comfortable and doesn’t hold a BO smell like a lot of other synthetic Baselayers. Very happy

Good technical layer
The comfort and fit of this is great. I'm 6'2" and slim and the medium is a great, trim fit, but with enough length in the arms and torso. I have only used this so far in colder conditions with high output activities (running) and it's been great. It's comfortable and doesn't smell bad. I can't really see myself wearing it in hot, sunny conditions (despite the fact that's its made for sun protection), because it would be too hot for high output activities. It would probably work well in shoulder season, as a sunny day shirt for activity in cooler weather, or in the summer if you're in the sun, but not moving much and not generating much heat. In my opinion, it wouldn't work as a hot, sunny condition shirt for high output activities because it would be too sweaty and hot.

MVP Most Versatile Performance
Just received this outstanding baselayer before a day trek, steep mountain Rucking. The Alpineglow is warm enough alone when you're climbing but dry enough to layer out again when you top out at the summit. My best technical piece.

Great Shirt. Will get more!
I'm a lean build, 5'6 ~145 lbs. The Small fit me perfect. I use this shirt mainly for mtn biking in the summer to protect the arms from the sun and shrubs. Highly recommend this shirt. Great quality.

Great!
Already used it as a warmer between sends in the gym and as a second layer for outdoor trad. This alpenglow will do much more, I can already see its versatility. Climb, hike, snowboard, run, or just chill. You don’t even know it’s on.
