Fit for the biggest mountains.
The French Alps breed ski mountaineers, freeriders, style mavens, and everyone in between, so Chamonix-based Black Crows designed the Corpus three-layer Men's Bib Pant to keep shredders of all stripes happy, dry, and looking sick. The Corpus is made with a three-layer Gore-Tex membrane and fully taped seams to keep water and snow out, and has a relaxed freeride fit that's functional and stylish at the same time. It's super functional, but every detail is designed to look good, too—the suspenders that hold up the removable bib have a subtle chevron pattern, the cargo and bib pockets have low-key snaps to keep your gear from falling out, and the mesh-lined inseam vents seal up with zippers that offer a little bit of sly contrast.
The Corpus also balances its fly look with high-alpine functionality, so you can get into some serious Alps-level stuff without overwhelming your gear. If you want to go low profile and save weight, you can remove the bib and use the adjustable waist tabs to keep your pants up. The cuffs feature ankle-length zippers as well as elevators that allow you to set the cuffs up at ski, hike, or aprés heights, so you don't trip. There are also integrated scuff patches to keep edges and crampons from slicing up your cuffs, and internal elastic gaiters (also with a stylish chevron print) that keep snow from sneaking down into your boots.

- Q & A
Very good, 1 tiny problem
These are awesome. I would say they are a bit on the long side. Iâm 6â2â 205 and the XL is great in the waist and bib, but a bit long . My only negative issue is where the bibs and the pants meet, it tends to open up with use. If any product people are out there... they need some hooks to attach the bibs to the zipper and buttons on the pants... the only other minor negative is that there is only 1 zippered front pocket... other than that I give them a 5 stars...
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Picked up a pair of these bad boys for the upcoming ski season and boy are they sweet. They have a real good amount of bag to them while boasting some great technical features like Gore Tex pro layer and a sweet removable top layer for those hotter days or spring laps.
Def a great buy to take your ski pant level to the next step.
Great pants deserve a review!

These pants deserve another review. Especially on the sizing. I purchased a large and they are a tailored fit. I carry a bit of weight in my stomach (too much apres) and the pants have no adjustment left. I feel an XL would be too big in the legs to account for the waist. I am very happy with these pants, they seem to run a little smaller compared to other brands I use (Armada). I also purchased the Corpus jacket but got it in XL and very glad I did as I listened to another reviewer here that said they run small. I dont believe they run small but that tailored fit is the key word.
Onto the pants! You can tell the guys who make these know what they're doing. Everything you actually need and nothing you dont. They seem to have a fun attitude and it shows in the little bits here and there they add just for a laugh. The chevron pattern stuff looks really good too. Pretty light weight compared to other 3L gear I have used.
A great example of the thought they have put into this is the pockets. Normal button up pockets but they have a littld fold which would prevent snow actually getting into the pocket. This is a neat feature I have seen missed on Northface gear. Fine 95% of the time, but flip onto your head on a pow day and you have pockets of snow... Not with Black Crows. Thats just one example, but you get the point they actually use this gear themselves.
My new favorite...
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Can't say enough about these bibs. My previous bibs (love bibs by the way) were a pair of Noronna Lofoten's. I absolutely loved those (2 pairs over the last 5 years) and might like these even better. I"m 5' 11 165 and wear a 32, 34 pant. These fit great. Very well made and extremely high attention to the little details, both fit and finish. These fit great, snug in the waist, while being roomy in the legs without being bulky. Pockets in all the right places. The left zips in the interior of the leg are great. I've worn them in sun, rain, groomer and waist deep powder. The breather well in the warm and repel water like an umbrella. The color is also over the top and helps my son pick me out in the crowd.
The only complaints I'd have is I'd like to see a tougher material in the inner cuffs to prevent from cutting. The neon green color can also pick up a little dirt after a few wears, but I've washed them and had no issue.
Pros: Fit, finish and color
Cons: Lack of cuff guard
