Maha Push & Twist III Floor Pump
Birzman's Maha Push & Twist III Floor Pump is a shop-quality bicycle floor pump featuring a patented head design that securely attaches to both Presta and Schrader valves in a matter of seconds. The same simple procedure works for both valve types, just push the collar down and twist it by one full turn to secure it to the valve. To disengage, simply pull back the collar and you're ready to get rolling.
The Maha III works well for road, mountain, and even track bikes with it's high-capacity aluminum barrel and 220psi max pressure. The varnished wood handle has a solid feel and gives the pump a classic look when paired with the precision-machined aluminum barrel and base. And to ensure you get the correct tire pressure with minimal hassle, Birzman includes an air bleed valve that lets you make adjustments to tire pressure without needing to remove the pump head.

Spectacular at everything but Schrader.
- I've used it several times
I purchased this pump with high hopes. I have owed a topeak joe blow pro for over 15 years and it needed to be replaced. After incessantly looking through the boggling number of pumps for sale at backcountry, I decided that the Birzman hit the sweet spot that I was looking for. It was premium, but not out of my price range, and the valve end system looked good. When the pump arrived I was immediately struck by its fit and finish. It feels solid, and looks beautiful. The gauge is clear, and It sat very sturdily on the floor. I immediately set out to pump up every tire in my garage. This pump worked spectacularly on every presta valve. Positive engagement, easy pumping, great experience. However, this experience was not enough to make me keep this pump in my garage. Trying to fill Schrader valves was fiddly and unreliable. At first, I thought it was user error. I spent more than 2 hours trying to hone my technique because I had fallen in love with the way this pump worked on presta. I couldn't find a technique that was consistent enough to justify the cost of this pump. Alas, this pump will going back. For this price, it has to be able to pump up every tire in the garage, not just the presta valve tires. Bummer.
