- Q & A
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
I gave these sandals as a gift and got great feedback... "Love these Birkenstock's! The color didn't disappoint... I love the vibrant red! They are comfortable to wear and I get lots of great compliments."
First Birks- Thumbs Up
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I've wanted some Birks for a LONGGG time.. So when they came out with a limited edition, vegan version, I had to jump on it! A couple things about this specific sandal.. and this doesn't mean it applies to ALL Birks.. Just this one specifically. In my opinion, this specific sandal runs a little big. I typically wear a size 9-9.5 depending on what brand a shoe is. I grabbed a 39 and a 40 to feel the difference and I was pretty positive I'd be a size 40 according to the size chart provided. Glad I grabbed both because, while the 40's could have worked, they were a little too big.. Like almost too clunky. If that makes sense. So when I tried on the 39's, they fit PERFECT. I also want to add that I don't have super narrow feet nor do I have wide feet, and my foot still fit perfect. They legit feel like I've been wearing them for 5 years even though I've only had them for a week or two. No break in period? Sign me up. The last thing I want to deal with at the beginning of spring is blisters.. As far as the colors, they're pretty spot on. They're a matte finish, not extremely shiny, just in case you were wondering. Overall, I'd highly recommend some cruelty-free sandals to add to your shoe collection. Possible photos to come.. although, I don't particularly feel comfortable putting my bare toes on the internet.
