    All-day comfort for your feet.

Slip into your Birkenstock Women's Granada Oiled Leather Sandals and walk on down to the local arts festival. Spend the day strolling from booth to booth checking out the handmade folk art. After you've traversed every mile between the raffia jewelry and the wall hangings made from old pasta, your feet will still have more than enough spring to get you home.

Love these shoes. I wear them every day in the summer, and even some days in the winter. They're great to wear around town, to the climbing crag, or when sitting by the campfire after a long day of biking.

    Classic Birks

My sister-in-law loves these Birkenstocks. The color is exactly as pictured and they fit true to size. She says that they get more and more comfortable as she wears them.

    Timeless and Comfortable.

As a wardrobe staple, the Granada offers a slightly more unique spin than the otherwise traditional Arizona. This design feature is definitely something I appreciate, because while I really dig my Gizehs, they're definitely more of a city shoe and less of a "wear-this-with-socks-after-a-long-hike" sorta deal (when you get back to camp, that is). In typical fashion, the Granada does take a little bit of break-in, so I do recommend wearing them around the house with socks for a bit before you take them on a full-day walkabout. You can loosen up the leather ever so slightly by treating it with plain, unscented moisturizer or better yet, try saddle soap, just don't get the cork footbed wet (otherwise it'll rot and get disgusting and you don't want that!). Backcountry also carries a Birkenstock-specific shoe kit, which I've never tried but I assume it works really well. These shoes are true to size, if anything having a few extra centimeters of room is a good thing rather than having your toes pressed up against the lip of the footbed, which can cause hot spots or irritate your arch (which, I've done in the past and it's resulted in a really uncomfortable wearing experience). Follow the size chart accordingly, so if you're a 7.5 pick up at 38 and if you're an 8.5 pick up a 39: it's comparable to Dansko's size chart. However, if you at all have a narrow foot, there are narrow-specific options for you!

it' worth 5 stars and 5 smiley faces! these are the first birkenstocks I've had. (Aside from trying my mothers on when I was little) but I suggest getting them. They are really easy to slip on when you don't want to wear real shoes, also if it's cold outside you can wear socks with them which isn't necessarily fashion forward but I don't care with these babies on my feet. I have some trouble figuring out what buckle hole to put them on. But other than that they are my foots soul mate.

    First Birkys!

I have avoided the hype of Birkenstocks for a long time. I honestly thought they were dorky and made for Vermonters that spend their days washing down pounds of granola with various flavors of Kombucha. Welp, over time my stylish friends here in Utah love them and I had family that swore by them back home, so I decided to give it a go. No regrets here! These things are comfortable, stylish, and durable. It takes some time for them to wear in, but I promise the oiled leather will soften over time. I recommend sizing down if in between sizes. I normally wear a 7-7.5 and got these in the 36

I'll get back to sipping my Synergy and leave you with my seal of approval for these and any other Birkenstocks. They will not dissapoint!

    Cute and Realistic!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Size Bought: 37

I ordered a size 37 because I wear a size 7 street shoe, but they are a little too big. I should have ordered a size below this because I have a narrow foot. However, I love the style of these and did not want to exchange them, I just tightened the straps all the way and they ended up working out pretty well (but I will definitely order a size smaller next time). The shoes took about 2 weeks to fully wear them in. I wear them just about every day now, and I don't care to get them dirty because I am convinced that Birkenstock's can't get dirty! The color Iron Oiled Leather is definitely not as black as the picture above looks. It is more of a darker brown, which I prefer now that I have them. Good for dressing up or just throwing on after climbing or hiking!

Super Cute but long Break in time

I love the design of these sandals. They are my first pair so I didn't know how long the break in time was. Apparently it's like super long. I would recommend wearing socks with it while you are breaking them in. I have some gnarly sores on the tops of my feet that make me look like a stigmata victim. Other than that the foot beds are incredibly awesome and again I love the design. I just wish they didn't hurt my feet so! LOL
