    Multi-tasker.

BioLite took an ingenious, game-changing idea and made it even better. The BioLite CampStove 2 Bundle boasts 50% more power, an integrated battery, and an updated LED dashboard for improved control and feedback. For the uninitiated, the CampStove 2 is a biomass-powered (i.e. wood) stove that not only cooks food and boils water using sticks and twigs foraged from the forest floor, but also converts the heat to usable electricity that powers your smartphone, headlamp, and other portable devices while you cook. This bundle includes a BioLite KettlePot and Portable Grill so you can boil water and cook up tasty meals while your phone charges. Plus, BioLite threw in an adjustable FlexLight so you can see what you're cooking after sundown.

Internal fan jets improve combustion and efficiency, and four settings allow you to control the flames. If you're not sure how hot your fire is, LED readouts show you fire strength and power output and fan speed settings. Like the original, it sports a USB output that can be used to charge devices while the fire is burning. New for the CampStove 2, however, is a built-in battery that allows you to store electricity and charge devices later when the fire isn't going.

As mentioned before, this bundle includes a KettlePot and Portable Grill. The Grill has a flame-spreading design and a grill grate so you can enjoy wood-fired meats and veggies, or use it with a pan when frying up some eggs. A silicone seal on the KettlePot prevents spillage, and Cool Touch handles make it easy to pour hot water into your French press. And when it's time to pack up camp, the nesting design and lightweight construction make it easy to haul down the trail.

    Interesting concept Good Execution

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I really enjoyed using this stove. & the grill attachment. I thought the grill portion was the most unique part of it. We even used it as a make shift heat source when we were camping in an area without an established fire ring. I mainly used pellets, which worked really well. I also used regular wood scraps and them also worked well, just shorter burn time before tending. I really enjoyed the stove so far and am interested in trying the larger version.

    Cool Idea

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I think this is a really cool idea for a stove but it is a little too techy for my liking. I think I will be sticking to my msr camp stove for camping because it is a little more simple and basic to use versus the biolite grill, I'm a good old fashioned propane girl I'd say haha..the biolite was a little too big to haul and if you were grilling something for a longer time, we had trouble keeping the pellets burning when you added more. But it was a cool concept that you could charge something with the fire. For instance if you have a rechargeable headlamp that needed a charge you could plug it in and not use electricity. Very cool! This would be a great gift for that techy person out there that likes to camp or a good grill to have if you lived in an apartment or something and want a grill to use occasionally that doesn't take up a lot of space.

More than a novelty -- a fantastic stove

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this for my mom and she proceeded to send me daily photos of the food she was cooking: soup, bacon and eggs, pancakes. She was tickled.

I got an up close view of the operation and suddenly found myself thinking about whether I should buy another one for myself. The stove is slick -- smart even -- and produces a really nice heat using just twigs and small sticks.

My uncle has one and he brings it out with him when he goes fishing. When they get to shore, my aunt gathers a few sticks and they light a small fire just as a handwarmer to take the chill off.

    This is BioLite

BioLite makes products that help you feel at home, off-grid, no matter where you are in the world. We design and build stoves, lights, and solar panels that harness the energy around you, ready for the next adventure or power outage.

    Good Stove

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This stove works pretty well and gets the job done. The only complaint that I have is that this stove is heavy. I would not recommend this for backpacking trips. In my opinion, this is more of a car camping stove.

    Best Value Out There

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Hey Guys - It's Jonathan from BioLite.
The CampStove 2 Bundle is our most popular item for a reason: not only does it include our new and improved CampStove 2, but it also comes with the KettlePot and Portable Grill - all at a $40 savings vs. buying all those items separately. Nest the CampStove 2 inside the KettlePot when not in use, and slide the Portable Grill into your backpack (don't worry, there's a plastic cover so you don't get your gear all greasy) for a full camp kitchen on a day trip or overnighter.

Don't worry about running out of gas again - as long as their is dry wood around, you have the fuel you need to cook your meals and power your phone!
